Former President Jimmy Carter said on Wednesday that Occupy organizers have created a "relatively successful" movement because they focused national discussion on wealth disparity despite lacking leadership and a unifying set of goals.
The Georgia Democrat said at an event in Atlanta that Occupy organizers have succeeded in forcing the media and Congress to realize the "chasm is getting greater than leaps and bounds" between the rich and the poor.
"It's been relatively successful even acknowledging there's no leadership, there's no coherence and there's no single list of issues they want to succeed," the former president said of the movement started late last year in lower Manhattan to decry corporate influence in government and wealth inequality.

Jiminy Collectivist would classify unfocused malcontents as successful. Gotta throw the useful idiots some peanuts now and them to keep them pumped for the warm-weather coming up.

Thank God Carter only had one term.
We’re still paying the price of his stupidity all these years later.
Many of the judges he appointed are still on the federal bench, and his failure to support the Shah of Iran in the shah’s hour of need ushered in the era of the mullahs.....a situation which may lead to a nuclear war in the near future.
I’ll say it again.....thank God this fool Carter had one term and not two. One term was horrendous enough.

Many people, my self included, made the most embarrassing poltical mistake of our lives voting for Carter. Im not a liberal but definitely a conservative. I am ashamed to admit I made the same mistake. JC came across as a devout Southern Baptist Christian who would not even drink a glass of wine. I was a born again Christian, young and naive. JC is the only Democrat I have voted for in my whole life. He makes me very leery of those who claim to be strong Christians running for offices. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

No, Jimmy Carter, this kind of conduct is what creates chasms among us - it doesn't "point them out." They had to have a judge issue a ruling to advise they don't have a constitutional right to vandalize, trash, and poop all over the place on both public and private property.

“How is it even possible liberals elected such an incredibly stupid, American hating, piece of garbage human being to the highest office in the world?”
Hell, they’ve done it twice! My guess is that Carter is worried that Obama may take his record as the worst president in history away from him so he’s trying to blunt FUBOs effort by rattling on about Occupy.

Oh Jimmah:
Worst Governor Georgia ever had.
Worst President America ever had. ZERO will overtake that.
Now you want to be the worst EX President America ever had.
Yo Win! ! ! ! !

I think for once Jimmah is right.
They were successful:
They succeeded in destroying a lot of property.
Costing cities money they don't have.
Showing Americans why going to college is not for everybody.
Proving Jerry Clower right: Some people are educated way beyond their intelligence.
Showing the professionalism of the Tea party. Remember the idiots at MSM tried to compare the Occutards with the Tea party.

Hmmmm. I suspect Mr. Carter probably qualifies as a member of "The 1%". Perhaps the "We're the 99%" should "occupy" the Carter presidential library.
Damned hypocrite (and incompetent president).
