Romney doesn't rule out Santorum as veep
Washington Examiner ^ | 021512 | Byron York

Mitt Romney, whose campaign is preparing a multi-million dollar wave of negative advertising to persuade voters that Rick Santorum should not be president, says he is open to the possibility of choosing Santorum to be his running mate should Romney win the Republican nomination.

Romney appeared on Fox News Wednesday morning and was asked, "You and Rick Santorum, we haven't seen you go head-to-head yet…In the big picture, could you see a scenario where you two team up?"

"Oh, I think it's always possible to have people come together in our party, whether it's Rick and I, or others in the party, who knows?" Romney responded. "It's a little early to tell something like that, but we have similar views on issues -- very different backgrounds."

Is Romney your second choice after Santorum?

Actually, if Obama asked Romney to be is VP instead of Biden, Romney would swoon to be standing beside Dear Leader. Think of how the media whores would spin this — Zer0 reaching out in a spirit of bipartisanship to the Republicans! The RINO establishment elites would have an orgasm and there’d be a stampede to demonstrate how both sides had come together in a moment of miraculous compromise and comity. It would be a beautiful moment and all the media outlets, including Fox News, would be swept up in the momentousness of this historic occasion.

Not even the troll pissant ever suggested that Palin was a stalking horse for Romney; nor, to my remembrance, has anyone seriously questioned her conservatism without being laughed off of the internet.

If Romney chooses Santorum, Gingrich should name Palin.

Game, set, and match: even Dems would prefer Palin to Santorum, as she has a track record of going after GOP corruption.

(And with $5.00/gal gas, her "drill baby drill" would suddenly become *very* appealing.)

Cheers!

Your cretin factor has quintupled.

Those who prefer Gingrich like the fact that he led the Contract with America, can eviscerate snarky members of the press on contact, and has a deep historical understanding of conservatism, to the point that the Dems have not even *attempted* the "intellectual lightweight* routine on him.

That, and he hinted a high position for Palin in his Administration: even if not VP, Energy Secretary would be good.

And he has spoken of eviscerating most of Obaama's legacy before Obaama arrived back in Chicago.

None of this bespeaks of acting as a covert agent on Romney's behalf, whether on the part of Newt or his supporters.

Cheers!

Well, it's refreshing to see others are seeing THE OBVIOUS!

Slick Rick attacks Newt, Mitt the Mormon attacks Newt and they both do it WITH LIES!

This proves that Romney is a TEA-partying, rock-ribbed right-wing extremist, and also inevitable./s

“A close look warns me Rick Santorum would be a disaster if elected.”

Just watch the head-to-head debate of Gingrich and Santorum, which didn’t get close attention up to now.

November, 2011

The Granite State Patriots Liberty PAC held a thoughtful and “conversational” style Presidential debate. No sharp tongued moderators (Paul Wescott of WGIR did a great job) here - a Constitutionally based question was asked and then the candidates were allowed to run with it. This is the part 1. Rick has shown he doesn’t have much if any willingness to stand up to the establishment.

He is part of it!

Palin is good doing what she does now. Her time will come.

Palin is good at ANYTHING she has done and will do. And her time is when SHE says it, not you.

The more I think about this the more I think this may not be a bad idea. The one who wins guarantees the VP job to the other. It would stop the infighting and then they can once again focus their attention on the real enemies like the Lame Stream Media, the Rats and Obama.

I hope Sarah is VP regardless of nominee. The nominee needs an attack dog and she can fire up a crowd. If not the VP slot, then cabinet position.

And her time is when SHE says it, not you

Her time to be chosen as VP is when the nominee "SAYS" it and not when the possible VP candidate "SAYS" it.

Are you up with American politics or just new to this country?
