“And this is the flaw of vaccines. It shows they really don’t work that well at all.”

Yeah, I miss iron lungs from polio and smallpox, too.

The good old days, you know?

“The good old days, you know?”

These are not “the good old days”.

The FDA’s objectivity is severely compromised by money it gets directly from drug, device and vaccine makers. It’s roughly 1/5th of their operating budget.

FDA brass is in hot water with Congress for spying on, harassing, and firing FDA workers who’ve been blowing the whistle to Congress on unsafe medical devices.

It must be nice to be a selective reader. Did you know that before the polio vaccine, polio infections had been decreasing steadily on their own, and actually increased with the advent of the initial vaccines? The vaccines that were supposed to protect you gave polio to kids.

As well as SV-40 and a future of cancer and the precursor to the AIDS virus.

And smallpox didn’t put you in an iron lung either. Not everyone who got polio had to go into an iron lung either.

Do you miss Guillain– Barré? I think there is validity on both sides of the vaccine debate. If it were my child would I get the vaccines? Yes but I would prefer them be spread out over time. The huge rush is simply for getting as many as possible as soon as possible is likely education funding driven. Meaning simply school doesn't want Pre-K kids {4 year olds} missing school. Pre-K and Kindergarten brought on most of the rush. I think both grade levels should be ended and kids start school at six.

If Autism ran in my family I would also be cautious and go for a minimal worse disease vaccines only route.

In 1985 when my wife suddenly went quadriplegic one of the first questions the Neurologist asked her was about any recent vaccines. If there wasn't a link why would he ask the question? Guillain– Barré was just beginning to be understood. No she didn't have that but a similar autoimmune disorder possibly caused from undetected dormant Polio from many years past.

I've seen some of the horrors some vaccines even given adults can do. Some Mothers who took a shot in the late 1950's during pregnancy ended up having kids with missing limbs. I can't remember what the shot was for but I saw a few kids with it in school. Both sides of the vaccine issue have legitimate & very valid concerns. Not all immune systems are created equal but our national immunization program is ran as if all are.
