The toughest thing that the regime does is create lies about us our reps. etc. than repeat them over and over ad nauseum using the dbm to get the job done. that’s where Rush comes in to play.He keeps the playing field level.

By far and away he's not out of his league. The people "out of their league" are in the Republican Party trying to deal with this, getting skunked at every turn.
It was a tongue in cheek, sarcastic comment directed that the trolls who are on the thread almost daily whining that Rush is in the tank for Romney. I actually posted my comments as Rush was saying what you quoted. ;)
