30 turnovers in his first 5 starts. He has to improve on that. On the good side, 136 points in first 5 starts is a record. He seems to do what Tebow did -— make everyone around him better.
He needs to improve his defense as well, but it’s still a great story for a good young player.
Yes he does have to improve, but those of us who remember the great Bob Cousy remember that it took a while for his teammates to adjust to his style of passes. Plus all of the Knicks are working to learn D’Antoni’s system. Lin will be a fine player for years to come. Super star? we'll have to wait and see but boy what a start!
He’s doing it all without Melo or Amare so that is very impressive. He’s an amazing player, Golden State actually dropped him so he is showing them what they lost
38 turnovers after six games. And the Knicks have won every one of them. So turnovers are unimportant? Not exactly. But they’re certainly not killing the Knicks at the moment. The faster the pace, the more the turnovers. In a fast-paced offense like the Knicks play, four or five turnovers a game from Lin are not that bad. Fortunately for the Knicks, Lin can get away with eight turnovers against teams like the Raptors, (who really miss Bargnani).
