Mitt Romney's overall favorable ratings have dropped, while Rick Santorum's standing has jumped among Republicans, according to a new national survey.
A CNN/ORC International poll released Tuesday indicates Romney's popularity has especially taken a tumble among Republicans, with a 13-point decline in positive reviews from his own party.

20-25 Mil in negative ad spending in one state mainly against one opponent tends to have that affect on folks. LOL
I hope he drops like a rock.
Go NEWT!
This good news. And especially good news if Rick can beat 0bummer.
This is good news. And especially good news if Rick can beat 0bummer.
If you’ve ever met Mittens in person you just want to take a shower in bleach and scrub yourself down with steel wool afterwards to get the stench of smarmy insincerity that he skunked you with.
“Romney’s popularity has especially taken a tumble among Republicans”
Among Conservatives, more likely. Romney = 0bummer.
I hope Santorum is the real deal. He seems socially conservative. Glad he’s making gains.
I’d rather see Newt in the lead, though. Sarah Palin would be even better.
The negative ad attacks, the smears from Drudge-Rhoades, the dementia from Ann Coulter, the CPAC astro-turfing and online vote-rigging and all the other blatant nonsense is backfiring big-time on Romney.
fading? I didn’t even know Romney had any likability ever.
Anyone but Romney.
And if you ever met Rick in person, particularly in a nonpolitical setting, you would be impressed with his sincerety and character.
In the new survey, 54% of Republicans said they hold a favorable opinion of Romney, while 67% said the same in January. Among all Americans, 34% described the candidate as likable, down from 41% last month.
No wonder they are so rabid in their attacks towards Rick and his supporters..
Mittens give used car sleazy salesmen a bad name.
Message to Mitt: Enormous money bomb negative campaign ads against your opponent does not make you more likeable. People begin to wonder, what kind of man would spend all that money and distort the truth? Do we want that kind of man as POTUS? I think we already have that guy in the White House.
Not to worry, you know the ruling class figures after they destroy Newt (ain’t happening) then brush off Rick as a blank slate ( their words from Mitt’s campaign), then Mr Romney is all standing as the person we all must get realize to get behind, he’s a businessman.. blah blah blah. I read that Romney’s campaign had a telephone conference confirming that he had 100 elected representatives on his side. The ruling class will float Paul Ryan or Rubio to his side though, I think it will be Paul Ryan to stop Newt/ and or Rick and their teams. I will not support Romney, so be on the lookout, stage set to shore up Mitt’s conservative identity. Coming soon ...
Arrogant Mitt won’t get the message and that is Good News.
Romney is a backstabbing, death-panel-imposing liar.
What is not to like?
