Lovely. Just what you want to hear from the actress who plays Mrs. Palin in the soon-to-be-released HBO film, Game Change. Julianne Moore says she found her theatrical muse terrifying.
Actually, Moores quote about SP is neither as ideological nor as personal as the headline makes it sound. NewsBusters supplies the context:
Moore explained how she recognized Palins political appeal:
Heres a woman whos a parent, whos an actual working mother, who worked her way up from local government, who was definitely middle working class, married to a commercial fisherman .She was incredibly relatable, she was attractive, she was young; she was speaking to a wide portion of the population that didnt feel that theyd been noticed or seen or heard.
In her February 14 item (posted on February 13) Julianne Moore: Sarah Palin was pretty terrifying, Schwab quoted Moore:
I would say, as a registered Democrat and longtime liberal, I think that I speak for a lot of women when I say that when [Palin] burst onto the scene, the way that she did that was pretty terrifying because I really felt like, Oh my gosh, the Republicans might have this election, Moore recalled of her first perceptions of Palin back in 2008. She was so electrifying as a figure, it kind of blew everyone away.

“I honestly thought the election was over at that exact moment. Little did I know that Mclame would be SO bad that even with Palin he couldnt win.”
You were not alone.
The Kids are Alright. And I only know because we accidentally went to see it, thinking it was about something else. AWFUL movie.
McCain was bad, but the MSM push for St. Baraq would have been difficult for any candidate to overcome, given the state of the economy.
I take it Pete, Roger, Ox and Moonie weren't in that one.
LOL I had to look that up, but yes, different movie entirely.
I agree.
Proves Moore “got” Sarah’s appeal and, as a life-long Democrat committed to party and not country, she was terrified at the prospect of a Palin victory.
She was terrified because Sarah was so good. She was wise to be afraid, very afraid.
Sarah isn’t going away any time soon. :)
I can see where she could be made up to look like Sarah: similar bone structure, nose, neck, profile.
I think there's an inner conservative in JM screaming to be let out. But I still hate her, especially her ratting out Harrison Ford in The Fugitive.
Yeah, well, longtime heroin addicts find a well-rounded dinner of rice, chicken, greens and salad to be "pretty terrifying," too.
Well, where I work the commies here either bring up the perky Katie interview or something about her shooting wolves from a helicopter.
Yeah, and ‘I can see Russia from my house’ which she never even said, Tina Rat Fey did.
Love love love Sarah.
Can’t figure why she won’t run.
Cameron Diaz looked awful in a film where she played a lesbian, as well. I find it interesting that the left thinks that lesbians are so ugly.

Whenever I see a lesbian couple .. my thoughts never go to “threesome” ... saw one pair today that was truly scary.
Me either. the only thing I can think of is the kids, especially baby Trig (go look up all the complications of DS) It would be very hard to leave him so much- and he is at a difficult age for a campaign trail.
The only other thing I can think of is some kind of threats from the GOP. No $, no support, backstabbing, lies, etc.
What I remember most about McCain's campaign was his all but official endorsement of The Usurper obama.
McCain being away from the campaign probably added votes in his column.
I have tons of his stuff I collected at truck stops, he was a big seller. Marcel, Darnell, Yarnell :)
Liberals are the closest thing we have to a tribe of apes, swinging through trees, slinging crap at everybody and eating parasites off their neighbor’s furry skin.
The film was meant to be anti-Sarah, so a liberal Dim had to be chosen to portray her. Moore looks very little like Sarah (ditto for Fey). I don’t know anything about Moore’s track record as an actress, but that she gleefully leapt at the opportunity to try to neagtively portray an American icon speaks loudly.

Cheers!
