Update:
A member of the White House household staff suffered an on-the-job injury Tuesday and may have lost some fingers."There was a minor injury with a member of the residence staff an ambulance was called out of an abundance of caution," an administration official said.
I dunno if I'd count a finger amputation as a "minor" injury...

That is weird. I guarantee, if I ever have even one finger amputated, let alone maybe two, I will not consider it a minor injury.

possible amputation of one or two fingers,... "may have lost some fingers" Seems like that would be pretty easy to establish one way or another, for anyone who can count to ten. Also, I don't think a hospital trip after amputating a freaking body part really counts as "an abundance of caution."
