I think she may be deliberately trying to NOT look young and sexy. Part of Newt’s baggage is the idea that he was catting around with a younger woman (before he got around to marrying her). She actually has an attractive face and figure, and if she softened her hair style and wore younger clothes, might pass for 35 or so. Whereas Newt looks 65 if he’s a day. How would THAT look, to have them together like that? It would look like the randy old geezer with his trophy wife. Which is NOT the look they want to project! LOL!

I give kudos to Callista for sacrificing her looks for the sake of the campaign, and her husband. Very smart of her. If Newt makes it into the WH, I predict a major “makeover” for Callista! ;o)
