Michelle Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, Gary Johnson, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Charles Buddy Roemer, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum
In line and ready to vote...
For Newt...
early voting while rick s is surging....not good for newts southern wall...but hey he still has georgia...for now
Good for you nana. Keep us posted on what things look like during the day if you can.
Is milt carpet-bombing the state? If so, is he attacking Rick or Newt?
Santorum has no delegates running but yes he is on the ballot.
It is far from clear to me that the Executive Committee would be obligated to fill delegate slots with suggestions from the Santorum camp.
It also is far from clear to me that Santorum has any names to submit to the executive committee...if he didn’t have any at the filing deadline (last December 30), why might he have any now?
"The Tennessean" front page had a ridiculous piece on Newt this week, once again telling readers how he's such a racist for his "food stamp president" statement.
Yes Newts on our ballot
However so are several of those who dropped out..
They should all get a few ABR votes which may mean less for Newt
Santorum has no delegates running but yes he is on the ballot.
What does that mean? Are these actual people who represents him at the convention? I mean this primary thing is kinda weird. I don’t understand why they just all can’t be on the ballot in all 50 states without having to go around getting signatures. I mean it seems like a waste of time especially since they don’t go around themselves to get the signatures but send out workers to do that.

You see that Santorum is on the ballot for the “Presidential Preference Primary” but when you vote for the delegates there are no delegates running committed to Santorum. It is my understanding that there are no Santorum delegates running anywhere in Tennessee.
Now if Santorum does win delegate slots, the party Executive Committee picks delegates. It is not clear to me that the Executive Committee is required to choose delegates suggested by the Santorum campaign, if indeed the Santorum campaign has any delegates to suggest.
