Discovery Networks could probably terminate their contract with Oprah because of this. Definitely a breach of contract on her end.

That could be a multi-million dollar fine for Discovery.
Ouch.

"Definitely a breach of contract on her end."
Really?
How did you end up with information about the contents of a private contract?

Nielsen’s been bugging the crap out of me lately, dozens of phone calls, crap in the mail etc. I informed them that I’d provide consulting services to them for $150 per hour, with a 3 hour minimum, payable in advance, and they’ve finally gone away. Guess they just don’t care about my opinion!

There should be a network for formerly important media personalities. Each could have their own show.
I would nominate the following to have shows on this Jumped the Shark festival:
Oprah
Beck
Coulter
Drudge
Trump
Rove

We were a Neilsen family..It was a pain to me.. The way they pick the people for Neilsen they had maps and went to a certain house in that area and then called ask if you wanted to be a Neilsen member then they send a couple of people to explain the set up and what we could or could not do or say..You are never to tell anyone you are a member of Neilson family not until it was over..It is a pain that is all I can say..My husband is the one that said we would do it,I knew nothing about it until the people showed up at the house..Thereis plenty you go through including calling them toilet them know you will be out of town and how many days..let them know if you add any other things like TV radios etc..They even come to your house to check and see if you have added anything.. As for Oprah Never watched the show when we were with Neilsen and I would not watch her new network..

I wish I had a Nielsen box so it could record that I have never watched anything on OWN.

Here's an idea Oprah, ask your pal Barack to issue new boxes to his friends so they will tune in and pad your numbers.
