I was hoping for bill numbers so I can take a look at thomas.loc.gov and see for myself the bills and the entire contexts of them.

Based on memory and taking his word for it as opposed to "Fred's" bald faced lie I picked apart yesterday, I think he was referring to 1993 or 1999 post Columbine when the NRA has some alternative bills to the super bad Clinton proposals. I know the stupid gun locks bill was part of it.

I'm pretty sure Newt voted for the same stuff in 93/94 (was gone for 1999/2000) if it was in the house as neither Santorum or Newt will go against the NRA. I'm not attacking Newt for that. Both of them will follow NRA and have A+ (Santorum) and A (Gingrich) rating by them. Usually that's good, but it is not always good.

I'll send this to a very good friend of mine who's a PAC member for a state level 2a organization that is not a lackey for the NRA or anyone else. He's also a Santorum backer largely on this issue and Paul's vote against national reciprocity.

If Santorum should ever want my vote, he’ll have to come out and admit those votes were wrong and hurt us all. Not just the gun votes, either, all of them.

But I know he won’t. He still thinks we’re stupid troglodites, and I won’t vote for anyone that has his attitude.
