Bill Clinton's allies speak out on Lewinksy affair
Friends and colleagues of the former US president Bill Clinton will speak publicly for the first time of their shock and sense of betrayal over his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

A new programme about the former president, which will be broadcast in the UK and America on February 20, explores Mr Clinton's alleged womanising throughout his political career.
During the two-part documentary, Dick Morris, a loyal adviser to Mr Clinton, describes the moment the former president telephoned him shortly before evidence of his affair with Miss Lewinsky was to be made public.
Mr Morris said: "Bill said to me: 'Ever since I got to the White House I have had to shut down my body',". He also said that Mr Clinton told him he had been weak in the case of the 23-year-old intern and had done enough with her to be in serious trouble.
Mr Clinton then asked Mr Morris to conduct polls on how he should handle the crisis. During the programme, Ken Gormley, a legal expert working in the White House, also recalled the sexual tension between the president and Miss Lewinsky. He said: "There were almost these sparks flying between them from the first moment when they saw each other."
Political aides who worked with Mr Clinton on his initial bid for governorship in his home state of Arkansas, campaigning alongside his wife Hillary, referred to his involvement with many women. One campaign chief recalled dealing with "25 women a day" who came into the office looking for Mr Clinton

This is why I don't see Obama as the worst President ever. In spite of his many failures, he did get Bin Laden when he had the opportunity.

Personally, I would like to see the boys from the UK bring more about Fast and Furious to the forefront. NBC doesn’t talk about it in the U.S. so perhaps the UK press will jump on the band wagon and shout it from the roof tops. We need that issue put strongly before the public. Put major emphasis towards all the stone walling from the Justice Dept.
The reason it is coming out now is because of the book and media coverage of the former JFK Intern. When you look at both of them, you begin to wonder where integrity and values start and stop in our elected officials. It’s disgusting!
Exactly. These stories never occur by accident. There is some larger purpose behind this missive showing up now. Best bets are it somehow leads to more money going to some RAT politicians or operatives.
Clinton reminds me of Henry VIII in that so many supporting staff that was supposed to working on governing the country, but instead had to cover up and help in him getting a piece of tail.
IIRC there was a question as to whether Monica was 18 yo. when the affair started.

I think this is being brought up since the story about the 19 year-old who had an “affair” with Kennedy came out a few days ago. I think it’s a matter of “as long as we are talking about interns....”
Also, Morris wants some attention and this is something he can confidently dish about.

Getting Bin Laden just gave him more cred so he could continue dismantling this great country.
Look at how great of a commander in chief I am by killing Bin Laden with my right hand while I destroy the American economy, lay bare military spending, and high tail it out of Iraq with my left hand.
As much as I despised Clinton for selling defense secrets to China; Obama is even worse in the way he has made us so indebted to China.
As an aside, it is interesting that both Kennedy and Clinton are getting raked over by the LSM in regard to their extra-marital tyrsts. Kennedy was even passing out interns to underlings. Always gratifying to see the Camelot bubble burst.

No. Navy Spec Ops got Bin Laden. You can tell from the famous “situation room” photo that they had to drag the pResident in at the last minute. He looks like a little boy sitting at the grown-ups’ table.
