I totally agree. I see genuine “tragedy” in a 29 YO mother dying of cancer. I see tragedy in 9/11. I see tragedy in the death of the Powell children at the hands of a psyopath.
In Whitney H. I see the unfortunate end to a self inflicted situation and I feel bad for her family/children.
It is no ‘Tragedy.”
That said, may God hold her.
I agree. I think it is a shame she is dead, but if it was drugs, then she did it to herself. What a waste!
It is a tragedy, my friend. As a recovering addict myself, I can tell you from personal experience, we lose the power of choice. Only by DAILY MAINTENANCE of my spiritual condition do I get a reprieve, and only one day at a time. I am one of the blessed ones; I survived.
If FR had a “like” button, I’d hit it for you comment.
I understand your sentiment, but you are splitting hairs. It’s a tragedy for her daughter and family - not just her death, but the whole string of events that led to her death. We are all flawed, some more than others, so show a bit more empathy. Coldness is never attractive.
