The team has already launched fundraising efforts in a bid to run the "Zionist" car in another major race, the famous Indy 500.

Interesting. I’ve never seen a stock car run with the Indy cars. I’m betting it finishes 30 laps down in the Indy 500. ;^)

I don’t disagree with this promotion, but NASCAR teams will take any sponsors money. Can a HAMAS,Cair, or LaRaza sponsorship be far behind?

J.J. Yeley driver.

Not much of a record yet in Nascar.

I’m guessing they mean the Brickyard 400?

Or maybe hooking up with an Indy only team for the 500.

There are typically about 8 to 10 Indy only cars since they start 33 at Indy and the other races are about 24 or so cars.

Last years winner (Dan Wheldon - RIP) was actually a one-off effort.

Their car, a Camry? I wish them well, but they will need a miracle.

I’m sure that’s what the poster meant but I couldn’t resist. JJ Yelley will be the driver. Yahoo sports in their NASCAR section has a little article with some good artist renderings of the paint job.

"LOL! it says Camry on the front and Toyota on the back!"

Great catch!!! Nobody ever said those NASCAR types were very smart.

That is as stupid as saying 'Impala' on the front and 'Chevrolet' on the back.....or 'Charger' on the front and 'Dodge' on the back.

Typical hillbillies. Next thing ya know, they'll put 'Focus' on the front and 'Ford' on the back.

“Nascar teams will take any sponsors money”
Hendricks motorsports has AARP on Jeff Gordon’s 24 car. That’s a pretty left wing outfit.
BTW, I like the Israel sponsorship—anything to tweak that puke in the white hut!!

I love Israel but I wish politics would stay the hell out of NASCAR.

“set to take part in the Daytona 500”
Heavy on the take part. They have to qualify first, to get in the race.

From the Facebook page:

Hey, did you hear about the new Israeli race car? It stops on a dime...and picks it up!

Gotta love it.

Do you know which team declined the nobama sponsorship? I doubt if it would be Rick Hendrick.

BAM Racing (currently inactive) was all set to take Baraq’s check but the campaign had buyer’s remorse and backed out.

I suspect they realized what would happen:

As for Hendrick, he’s more of an opportunist than an ideologue. Lately he’s been funding Republicans.
