Yes, an attempt to get the Catholic vote, but he also is attempting to trap the Church leaders into "accepting" the "compromise" so that he can translate that into "approval and acceptance" by the Church of Obamacare in its entirety.

Amazing that, even on "The Five" this afternoon, Priebus (RNC) was referring to Obama's actions as an "attack on the Catholic Church." It is not an attack on the Catholic Church, and the entire discussion is not about "contraception" or "women's health." They are much more significant than such descriptions would indicate.Obama's actions are an outright attack on the United States Constitution's absolute prohibition against any elected official, including the President, "intermeddling" in matters protected by the First Amendment.

This is the defining moment for conservatives. If they want to take a stand on behalf of freedom and against they tyranny which most people who have ever lived have experienced, then they need to look deeper than the semantics surrounding this matter, and the GOP Establishment needs to stop engaging in the straw man arguments of the progressives, and educate the public about the power grab which is taking place right in front of their eyes.

We should, and our health care as well.

Democrats/government soil every institution they control. Price goes up while quality and service go down.

Healthcare, K-12 education, higher education, banking, housing, student loans, autos, our currency, . . . are all in trouble because unaccountable democrats run them.

And now they encroach on Church law.

I agree with what you wrote, but I was only responding to correct your statement wherein you flatly said that "...he can't say "Communist", as if he had never used that word to describe Obama and his policies. To wit:

"He and his friends are authentic Stalinist Communists, and nobody sees it except Rush, and even he can't say "Communist"."

As I showed you --(with links in my previous post)-- Rush spent two days in a row referring to Obama and his policies as "Communist", because Obama's speech was "the news of the day", and provided direct proof. IE: His own words indicted him as such.

I wasn't aware Rush had teed Obama up as a Stalinist Communist two days in a row. That suggests he's trying to give the idea currency, which will be a hard slog as my last post indicated, the LSM having done their best to inoculate all the Communists in American society against reprobation by patriots.

Let's see how far he gets. Like I said, I haven't heard any takers so far, although Gingrich came close at CPAC.

But it still needs to be said, to be put out there, that Obozo is a doctrinaire, party-line Stalinist of the old CPUSA, Earl Browder-and-Angela-Davis stripe.
