The Obama administration will attempt to accommodate religious groups that are unhappy with a new mandate that forces them to offer health insurance that covers contraceptive methods.
With the White House under fire for its new rule requiring employers including religious organizations to offer health insurance that fully covers birth control coverage, ABC News has learned that later today the White House possibly President Obama himself will likely announce an attempt to accommodate these religious groups.
The move, based on state models, will almost certainly not satisfy bishops and other religious leaders since it will preserve the goal of women employees having their birth control fully covered by health insurance.

Almost all Christians admit that they lie.
Using Juan Williams logic, we should then repeal the commandments about lying.
Good old Obama.
Doubling-down every single time.
No change. No compromise. Just re-arranging the furniture.
Obama just spoke and said the organization won’t pay and the woman won’t pay, so I guess he expects the insurance company to pay.
As if they won’t structure their fee around all their costs.
This is simply smoke and mirrors and another sign that Obama thinks people are stupid.
That was, no doubt, his plan all along. He is a complete manipulator usurper immoral radical...pft!
I very strongly agree. Thank you for sharing your insights, dear brother in Christ!
That is not a law.
As usual, the ongoing behind the scenes dramas at the WH swirl .. and particularly in this issue, the radical chicago slum lord and machine mistress consigliere Valerie Jarrett again looks to be the center hub (likely along with MO). She and Daley are blood enemies, and he finally just split. BHO, the weakling, seems to typically cave to the girls until the noise from any anti-lib issue affects the poll numbers too much. The girls must be livid, and I bet they keep tabs on every meeting and conversation he has.

It was no secret inside the West Wing that Bill Daley, a Catholic with deep connections to the church hierarchy, vehemently opposed the administrations proposal to require church-run hospitals and universities to give their employees free contraception.
But it was the way he pushed his case that aggravated some women on President Barack Obamas senior staff, according to current and former administration officials.
*snip*
Think of this as Bill Daleys parting gift to the White House, a prominent abortion-rights activist who works closely with the administration told POLITICO.
Several of the presidents most influential female advisers Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and senior adviser Valerie Jarrett among them were angry by what they viewed as a Daley power play and made their sentiment known to Obama, according to several people close the situation. Daley could not be reached for comment.

FYI - the howling and convergence of lib groups has just begun. This group had my mouth agape .. the eye opening video from yesterday of the demands of arrogant, outraged college girls who are demanding abortion and contraception for free from their Catholic colleges. Ring leader is Bobby Kennedy’s daughter .. Catholic in name only Kathleen Kennedy Townsend. Simple solutions: remove themselves from the religion and/or the colleges.
EVERYthing going forward is about ONE thing: his reelection.
ELS .. CSPAN really buried this .. I had to hunt for a long time to find it after catching the end of it on TV.
Freeper comment: I heard the word around the beltway that this was all Axelrods doing. If so it sure blew up in his face.
My reply:
I now wonder if this is why Daley resigned. He was outspokenly against this move. BTW: I heard that Jarrett was the one that pushed it. Such infighting might explain these events.
It’s good to see the tip of the iceberg exposed, but in point of fact, OBAMACARE is unAmerican/unConstitutional, AND the Obama regime certainly takes great pride in the many ways it has found to circumvent the Constitution, our God-given rights, and the Law of the Land.
Many of us citizens woke up without the need of an alarm clock. Now the alarm clock is screaming- Wake-up America. Dont push snooze if Obama appears to cave on the contraception/abortifacient mandate. Fool me once...; fool me twice...fool most of the people all of the time?
Wake Up America!

The Long Road to Eroding Religious Freedom: When President Obama Bragged About It
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2844200/posts
From the article:
“THE PRESIDENT: Darn tooting. (Laughter.) They have to cover things like mammograms and contraception as preventive care, no more out-of-pocket costs.”
“Back when we were arguing about the whole of Obamacare itself and abortion funding, the president of the United States actually accused Catholic bishops of lying about the language of the proposed legislation.”
“I know theres been a lot of misinformation in this debate. And theres some folks out there who are, frankly, bearing false witness, he told liberal religious activists during a conference call in the summer of 2009.”
Do you think that if he gets 4 more years that unemployment will go away, the economy will recover, the military will function as intended, that all the Marxists will leave the White House?
I will not comply! Check out the web page folks!
“I am 100% convinced that Obamas intention is to separate the Catholic Church from Catholic Ministries, as if the ministries of a Christian are not part of his/her religion.
He wants the hospitals, colleges, schools, adoption agencies, counseling centers, recreational programs, etc. ALL to be sliced off. His intent is to declare religion to be the act of worship and nothing further.”
Yep - precisely what he wants. Church-sponsored hospitals, colleges, schools, adoption agencies, counseling centers - and even recreational centers are direct obstructions to Obama’s goals. As long as they exist - whether Catholic, Baptist, Jewish, or whatever - they are a source of help and comfort to people. Obama cannot tolerate this. He HAS to have the people dependent only on him/government and he will therefore do whatever he deems necessary to dismantle people’s...CLINGING to their faith.
His goal is to destroy any religious entity that keeps people bowing in supplication to himself.
His narcissism goes beyond malignant.
His goal is to destroy any religious entity that keeps people bowing in supplication to himself.
Make that...”His goal is to destroy any religious entity that keeps people FROM bowing in supplication to himself.”
duh.
The corpseman caves.
I stand corrected!! Rush has explained it. He is more insidious than ever and he didn’t cave, not by far.
Scientologists and Amish are exempt from Obamacare because they don’t pay in to social security. Muslims are exempt because paying insurance is against the tenets of their religion.
Funny how ‘tenets of their religion’ that doesn’t work for Christians...
That’s why I said “touted”. This is one of these erroneous memes about the Constitution.
I’m dense today, York. Which web page should I check out. Sorry. :>)
I was in shock too.
But then I realized that it is OUR NEIGHBORS who don't get. Obama gets it perfectly well. And actually, while most of our neighbors didn't or don't get it, many actually LIKE the idea of socialism. If you are the tyrant, or one of the disciples of the tyrant, you win.
We need to spend less time b****ing about Obama, and more time getting in the face of our thieving neighbors.
The churches need to get together with their sheriffs, and “guide” them to the conclusion (1) it isn’t in their best interest to enforce such a law, and (2) arrest any federal officer attempting to do so in their county.
It’s unconstitutional. Period.
