I note that it’s an “accommodation”.
To me, that says that the Obama administration feels it’s government’s right, it’s duty to be in all aspects of our lives, but will “accommodate” when it’s politically expedient.
Anyone who trusts Obama deserves the Neville Chamberlain “Peace in our Time” award.
Two steps left, one step right. This isn't "rule of law." It is administrative dictatorship modified by cronyism and pull.
To me, it's similar to the courts OKing the suppression of bondholders' rights in the auto bailouts after the government pressured the bondholders with nonspecific threats of with-holding other business relations. It meets the letter of the law, albeit in a perverse way. It only meets the letter because HHS dicator Sibelius can do whatever the hell she wants, as Obamacare is written.
I believe this ‘accommodation’ is actually ‘hudna’: postponement to regroup and attack in force.
“Nowhere is power (or the lack thereof) more clearly understood than in Middle Eastern culture. Coming from a Western perspective, we continually fail to recognize that concessions, territorial withdrawals, and our efforts at compromise, contrition, accommodation, dialogue and appeasement are perceived by our enemies in the Arab/Muslim world as symptomatic of our weakness and merely reinforce what they have already come to believe - that Western democracies are paper tigers (to use bin Ladens term) and easy prey.”\
