VANITY- My conversation with Josh at the RNC- No wonder our Republican party is falling apart

Oh my gosh! I am so very mad I am still shaking. I called the RNC today to get the definitive answer on the Florida delegate count. I was transferred to a young man named Josh and what ensued was the most infuriating, while enlightening, conversation that I have had in a long while.

I first asked my question about the delegates. His convoluted answer was basically that they couldn't impose two punishments, so the one punishment imposed was taking away half of their delegates. I asked him about that rule, was that in writing somewhere. He then proceeded to tell me that he thought that it was funny that no one had a problem with the rule until Newt Gingrich lost and now Gingrich wants to challenge it. Mind you, I had not mentioned that I was a Gingrich supporter. He said that it basically didn't matter anyway. The race wouldn't be that close. Several other things were said about Gingrich, with a tone that made it perfectly clear that he supported Romney and despised Gingrich.

Well, I was getting pretty mad at this point. So I said that the average Conservative voter was pretty upset about the establishment trying to shove Romney down our throats as the "inevitable" candidate, just like they did McCain and Dole. He said, "Newt Gingrich is more of an establishment candidate than any of them". I talked about ruling class and the fact that all of the elite, inside-the-beltway Republicans and Democrats all hated Gingrich for a reason and that intrigued me. He then said that the Democrats would LOVE to have Gingrich as their candidate because they know that they could beat him! Wasn't this guy supposed to be neutral? I was quite mad by now. I said that the Democrats are actually dying to run against Romney, a silver-spoon, live in a bubble being groomed to run for president, multi-millionaire Wall Street guy. He then said, well Newt Gingrich is a multi-millionaire! Uh, hello?!

I asked him what he thought about the false ads that Romney and his supporters were running attacking Newt and his Reagan connections. He said that he didn't live in Florida and he didn't see the ads! I said that he sounding like Romney! Then I said, you work in the political office of the Republican party, shouldn't you know what is going on in all of the campaigns, especially if it is making news. You know that we have this little thing called the "internet" where you can go to see videos. He changed the subject.

THEN he launched into the most shocking attack on Gingrich that I could have imagined. He said "well, this guy has had three wives and investigated the president for cheating on his wife while he was cheating on his wife. Don't you think that is hypocritical?" !!!!!!

I was floored! I said, did I call the RNC or the DNC?!?! I then asked him how old he was (25) and was he really around to pay attention to the impeachment trial in the 90's? He said yes, Newt was investigating a guy for having an affair while he was having an affair and that was hypocritical. I practically screamed at him "it was not about sex, it was about lying under oath!" He then said that the speaker of the house should not have been investigating him in the first place, since he was having sex with another woman at the time. Picking myself up off the floor, I yelled that the investigation was started because of Paula Jones. He said that she was just a slut. I said that she had a legitimate harassment suit against Clinton and he was called to testify under oath and he lied! Josh said that he shouldn't have been investigated in the first place! WOW! I then asked him if he thought that perjury was a crime. He said yes but the House investigated and the Senate did not convict him. He said that the Speaker brought embarrassment on his whole party by investigating Clinton and bringing Impeachment charges. Unbelievable...

I then thanked him for showing me exactly why my Republican party is falling apart. I told him that it is because of people like him that our party has lost its footing, its vision and its mission. I said because of people like him we would end up with 4 more years of Obama and our country no longer resembling the United States of America.

I then hung up the phone and called Newt's office. I relayed everything that this "neutral" kid said to me. Needless to say, they were shocked. As was I..... I hope that I have conveyed my conversation in a way that makes sense to everyone. But I felt that I should share my experience so that we all know that the enemy is inside the gates.

Contact Newt’s campaign and let them know what’s going on.

He must be the same guy who **yelled** at me when I call my Senator's office ( a Republican) to ask about Obama’s natural born citizenship and spewed off every DNC talking point on the issue.

These guys make me sick!

This is why I call the Pubbies, right-wing Leftists, and the Dems, left-wing Leftists. Either way you vote you get Leftism every time.

I think I'll print your post and put in the return envelope the RNC sends begging for a contribution.

Along with some profanity laced suggestions.

Thanks for the report. The fix is definitely in for Romney. And they will most certainly lose again. And trust me, they won’t learn. They will pick some other RINO 4 years from now and lose again. For Republicans, it’s better to lose with a moderate than win a conservative. It’s the one area of true bipartisan agreement.

As an aside, I actually had some numbnuts from the RNC have a similar argument with me a couple of years ago; actually to point of raised voices and choice words! The kicker is this meathead was actually calling me for a donation! In retrospect, it’s ironic that the only time Republicans show any stones is when they pick fights with conservatives; go figure. I don’t know where they get these morons, but I know where they get sales training;from union membership “recruiters” . . .(”Look Bub, this ain’t no invite, you’re joining the friggin union. . .”)

Almost everyone here at one point or another has had a conversation with the “RNC” like this. Its why most of us do not give any money to the RNC.

Just had a conversation with RNC today. I must say, my guy on the phone was a lot more reasonable to deal with. He let me say what I had to say about the RNC's failures, and he did let me vent about its lack of strategic vision and backing the wrong horse, etc. I asked that he send the recording of my remarks up the line to his supervisor and above, and he said he would.

It's all we can do -- keep letting them know we will not give our money for them to piss down another commie-appeasing rathole like the McCain and Steele approaches.

...if you have someone in office who will actually shrink the size of the government and its bloated budget, then their parasitic livelihood would be gone, and they would have to get real jobs.

Which is why we must demand TERM LIMITS. No one should be able to make a career of politics at our expense! Two terms house, two senate, then back to live under the laws you passed. No pensions except those they choose to buy and social security, just like the rest of us. No health care that can't be had by the general public; make 'em take Obamacare if they don't kill it.

I wish I had a number to call their campaign office.

Anyone have that info? ---------- I told the guy that Newt would bring big changes to the way Washington works. He said to me that those changes would be too extreme. I help campaign for George Allen and many others. Now, I am the enmey and the extreme wing. I am so angry.

Do you really think that this guy was really interested in the impeachment hearings at 11 years old? Or do you think he was trying to figure out ways to score with the ladies at that age and needed get some points from the Prez?

I agree that Josh sounded more like a DNC operative. That’s why I toss all my RNC mail into the trash.

Sounds like you outed a DNC infiltrator. There is a reason the DNC knows nearly everything the RNC is doing.

Wow, interesting point.

A few years ago during Dubya's first prez run, I volunteered to be in a phone bank at RNC HQ down in DC, to get the swing-state vote out. I was asked to provide references, and I gave some military officers, etc. But even that, today, is no guarantee.

“I don’t know where they get these morons,...”

Is Tokyo Rove still running the RNC?

As the old Polish proverb goes...

“A fish rots from the head down.”

Go figure!

Always trust that the Stupid Party will not only shoot itself in the foot, it will shoot itself in both feet, multiple times.

You know the old saying about stupidity being doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. That’s the GOP.

If Willard is the nominee, and Willard wins, it will be because of an overwhelming anti-Zero vote, which makes up for the incredible ineptness of the Republican establishment.

Nothing like some jerk breaking every rule of ethics in the book while lecturing you! He belongs in the “Occupy Wall Street” crowd.

I wish I could remember the name of the lady who introduced Newt at the Lincoln’s Day Dinner is West Palm Beach. She would likely have enough clout to send this little jackaramous packing.

This needs to be on Rush’s show. We’re going to have to expose these outrageous tactics some how.
