Gallup released a memo earlier this week titled, "Where the U.S. Election Stands Now," comparing past presidential approval ratings with each candidates reelection results. Gallup concluded:
This historical pattern suggests that Obama would need to see his job approval rating climb to 50% to be in a comfortable position for re-election. History shows that by March of the election year, all winning presidents in the modern era, including George W. Bush, had job approval ratings above 50%, and all losing presidents had job approval ratings below 50%. This suggests that where Obama stands by next month may be an important indicator of his ultimate re-election chances.
According to Gallup's most recent daily tracking poll, Obama's current approval rating is even at 47 percent. He has not been over 50 percent since Osama bin Laden was killed last May.
ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN - crickets.
I’m really surprised by this story.
Past couple weeks, seems like there’s been a story pretty much every day about how Obama’s rising in the polls, he’ll beat the pants off Romney and leave Gingrich or Santorum in the dust, that the House could very well go back to a Speaker Pelosi, and the Senate is in good shape for the MSM’s favorite party.
How do those stories square with this? I don’t get it.
Nonsense, the lame stream media are in collusion with obastards henchmen to respin this information and boost the rating.
Isn’t that kinda saying the same thing?
President Obama walks into the Bank of America and says to a cashier, “Good morning Ma’am, could you please cash this check for me”?
Cashier: “It would be my pleasure sir. Could you please show me your ID”?
Obama: “Truthfully, I did not bring my ID with me as I didn’t think there was any need to. I am President Barrack Obama, the president of the United States .
Cashier: “Yes sir, I know who you are, but with all the Government regulations, monitoring of the banks because of imposters and forgers, etc., I must insist on seeing ID.”
Obama: “Just ask anyone here at the bank who I am and they will tell you. Everybody knows who I am.”
Cashier: “I am sorry, but these are government and bank rules and I must follow them.”
Obama: “I am urging you please to cash this check.”
Cashier: “Look, this is what we can do: One day Tiger Woods came into the bank without ID. To prove he was Tiger Woods he pulled out his putting iron and made a beautiful shot across the bank lobby into a cup. With that shot we knew him to be Tiger Woods and we cashed his check. Another time, Andre Agassi came in without ID. He pulled out his tennis racquet and served an ace shot directly into the center of our bank logo 90 feet away. With that spectacular shot we cashed his check. So, what can you do to prove that it is you, and only you?”
Obama stood there thinking, and thinking and finally says: “Honestly, nothing comes to mind. I can’t think of a single thing I can do.”
Cashier: “Will that be large or small bills, Mr. President?”
And conservatives should remember that its not who votes that matters but who COUNTS the votes. Trust not the Marxists in power. They will do ANYTHING to stay there since it has taken them over 100 years to do it.
