Based on my observations here over the past month or so, that sweater vest is like a cross to a vampire for those suffering from Santorum Derangement Syndrome (SDS).
Just last night, my girlfriend pointed out that in the Santorum, "Rebellion" ad, when the voter rips of his establishment shirt, he's wearing a sweater vest! I love the subtle thumb in the eye :-)
I’ve always liked a nice, cozy sweater vest on a man, especially a certain gentleman of Pennsylvania, and of late, Louisiana. ;^)
Regarding the Hollywood starlet, I believe it’s time for the so-called “unfashionable” among us to stop referring to certain members of the privileged class by a name to which they heartily aspire, “elitist”, and begin calling the arrogant, pretentious, disdainful lot what they actually are, “snobs”.
A man of great nobility, Ronald Reagan, possessed the knowledge of who he was and where he came from; and it was his humility of spirit and generous heart that the discerning could never begrudge. He was a true aristocrat, the best of his kind, an excellent and superior man among men. I believe Rick Santorum has within himself the strength and character for such excellence.
Miss Johansson is very young, and doesn’t yet realize -nor might she ever- that the right kind of project and/or, stiletto, does not make the girl an excellent and superior woman among women.
I’m going back to my room with my soapbox now and upending it, so I can toss in more tapes for the trash. :-*
