Scarlett Johansson isn't ready to talk yet about Nate Naylor, her just-revealed boyfriend of five months.
The sartorial choices of Rick Santorum and the Republican National Committee, however, were fair game for Johansson, 27, who stepped out at a Tuesday fundraiser for President Barack Obama hosted by Vogue in NYC.
Santorum, 53, was the surprise winner in the Republican primaries in Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado on Tuesday -- but Mitt Romney's rival won't be winning any fashion awards for his talked-about sweater vests, Johansson joked.
"Oh gosh, so sad," the We Bought a Zoo actress said. "My dad wore them, and, I mean, they're charming for family photos I guess, and dinner with the grandparents. I think there's an ironic way to wear a sweater vest but other than that I'm not sure!"
The beauty also scoffed at the RNC's recent comments that Tuesday's Vogue fundraiser (Vogue's Anna Wintour also attended the event, coinciding with the start of Fashion Week) was elitist and ritzy. "Why would they say that? They are all so unfashionable," she said. "Let them say what they want!"

Hmm. The only thing that keeps it above zero is the one in a bazillion chance that she might saw “Chin, I’m coming over tonight, be ready.”
Sweater vests are pretty ghey. Santorum could probably make the suit-without-a-tie look work.

Exactly. Folks is losin' their touch around here.
I, for one, would love to be slammed by Scarlett Johansson.
Whew. That’s better.
Two brains are better than one.
Not guilty!
NOT GUILTY.
Yeahhh Scarlett,, your opinions are so -fascinating-
Now, show us your boobs.
“but other than that I’m not sure!”
I’m sure dear Ms. Johansson says that alot!
ScarJo knows.
Got any pictures?
When I want a reasoned, informed opinion on our politicians, Scarlett is the first one I go to.
And by “reasoned, informed opinion on our politicians” I mean “an example of a really stunning rack.” :)
Scarlett,, just to put it in perspective;
was born a few weeks after Reagans re-election,
was kindergarten age during the fall of the Berlin Wall, Desert storm, and the break up of the USSR.
She was 8 when Clinton was elected.
Was 11 when Monica was servicing bill and getting stains on the blue dress.
Was 12 when Clinton won reelection.
And was 16 when the 9/11 attack occurred.
She is obviously JUST the person we should turn to for political advice.
if anyone knows fashion...it's her (snicker)
