Blow to Romney? This was more of a blow to Newt. I’ve been for Newt since the second debate but he hit a wall. Look at the numbers... Romney still in the low 30’s. Rick is getting voters that are leaving Newt and looking for another anti-Romney.

Romney wins when there is a split among conservatives. If they can unite behind Santorum or Newt, (or whatever just unite behind someone darn it!) and Romney doesn’t have a chance.

The wife and I have been watching Newt's self destruction with dismay. He and Romney have been acting like un-disciplined, destructive children since SC.

Their styles are different but the net is the same...they both have made themselves less likeable and less presidential to those who were in their camps.

Santorum looks good in comparison by assuming the mantle of the only adult in the room.
