This is a story about a young and impressionable female intern in the White House -- a virgin, with girlish dreams about princes and presidents. Young girls are trained to marry the wealthiest or most powerful man on the block. When the prince comes calling, few young girls can resist this opportunity.
However, they are not the ones who are abusing power and betraying both youth and a wife. That would be the prince or president himself.
And no, I am not talking about Monica Lewinsky in the Clinton White House.
I am talking, sadly, about the recent revelations by a former intern, Mimi Alford, in the Kennedy White House. Alford is no Marilyn Monroe, who was reputedly the mistress of both John F. and Robert F. Kennedy. Nor, is she Judith Exner, who was reputedly the "Mata Hari" connection between President Kennedy and Sam Giancana, a Mafia operative. These were adult women who chose to use their sexuality to further their careers.

There was a story released in the past two days affirming this. I notice the final chapter episode has been taken off youtube as well.
In later years I found a lot more about him and his slut wife from Jackie's cousin which happened to be my wife's uncle.
He considered her the biggest whore in DC and hated her guts.
I agree, Tax Chick. I got a really bad impression from the article about girls and women in general. My take is that the writer feels like this is a common practice and females give up all morality and values to marry power and wealth. Perhaps this type of behavior is practiced among the very wealthy (you marry someone of equal stature?) but this is the first I have heard of it. Sheesh.....
The only reason sex scandals are relevant is that they can allow someone to be compromised. You're right--The known crimes of the Obama administration are several orders of magnitude greater than whatever tawdry highjinks they can dig up about Kennedy.
“I think you remember it wrong. That wasnt news footage from a network.”
It was shown on CBS on May 29, 1962.
You probably mean F4s. I still remember their deep boneshaking roar.
“Old age slip F-14’s and Many Prop planes old WW II Corsairs I think. Hey it has been 50 years. But a darned sure was there.”
F-4s and F-8s! This might refresh your memory..;-)

I remember reading that the Orthodox Church allowed people who had been divorced once to be married in a church wedding (I don't know if that is specific to the Greek Orthodox or applies to all of the Orthodox Churches). The problem for her as a Catholic would be that the Church would not recognize her marriage to a divorced person as valid (any more than Henry VIII's marriage to Anne Boleyn). That Onassis was not a Catholic would be of minor importance--the Church wants Catholics to marry other Catholics but they perform lots of weddings where the other partner is a Protestant, and being Orthodox should be a lesser hurdle than being a Protestant.
Thank you getting old is not so bad if you are young.
Well I would think in this job market one shouldn't complain.
What was your point?
F4 Phantoms spooling and revving up sure made a hell of a racket. Great airplane.
Where was it openly talked about?
National or NYC local? Was the singing shown, or just the event?
Stuff like that did not appear on flyover TV back then.
OK Stearmans then, surely they go back far enough.
LBJ not JFK committed the USA to war in Vietnam.
Stephen King has some interesting thoughts on those very issues in his newest novel 11/22/63. I know he’s a lefty, but he sure can write.
Kennedy supporters are totally unaffected by any subsequent revelations. What counts is “the dream,” as EMK called it.
