The office of the Chief of Chaplains of the U.S. Army forbade Catholic chaplains from reading, in Sunday masses, a letter about a controversial Obamacare mandate from the Catholic Churchs military archbishop. The move, which amounts to the head of Roman Catholic military chaplains calling the Obama administration un-American, will set the stage for a philosophical conflict between Catholic soldiers and their commander-in-chief.
In the forbidden letter, Archbishop Timothy Broglio encouraged Catholics in military congregations to disobey a federal government mandate part of President Obamas health care overhaul requiring Catholic employers to provide health coverage that includes sterilization , abortion-inducing drugs, and contraception.

I didn’t know the Army had Camplains. Not even sure what a camplain is....
Growing tyranny.
“We are in the beginnings phase of a tangible civil war between American Catholic institutions and the Federal government and the media barely bats their collective eyelashes. Prayers friends....”
Before getting too anxious, perhaps remembering that Communism in Russia spent nearly a century violently suppressing the Russian Orthodox Church.
Then, note that Communism is gone and the Russian Orthodox Church is doing quite well, thank you very much.

Bammy is in the process of validating the Indian folk saying “The monkey’s reach exceeds its grasp.”
Cacography.
Today's Merriam-Webster Word of the Day.
If a church must beg the government for freedom, the US now has a state religion, 0bama's Church of Socialism.
First they came for the Catholics and the media did not speak out.
When they come for the Southern Baptists will anyone speak out ?
Kulturkampf
One can only hope if Catholics win on this issue that they will not forget who tried this before they enter the voting booth. Unfortunately too many voters seem to lack long term memories.
In a reasonable world, this would cost someone his job. In this case, BO probably gave the order to squelch this writ from the Catholic bishops.
The general who did this is a Catholic priest!! He must love his job!! Wonder how often he has defied the bishops before?
He is a coward and a traitor.
“The office of the Chief of Chaplains of the U.S. Army issued”
Wow, just like SUVs that run over people and crash into buildings, we have an office that issues ultimatums to Army Chaplains. I guess it is like TOTUS that uses the inanimate lifeform we believe is Obama to spew out its lefty directives.

I'm still trying to make heads or tails of this article. But is this any better?
Regards,
Has anybody seen a statement of the National Association of Evangelicals on this issue? Anybody? Anybody? NAE? NAE?
Gee, they were so quick on the environment, immigration and homosexuals. Anybody?
Chaplains are Commissioned Officers who do have to follow orders given thru the chain of command. Does not make it right though.
So much for that church and state thingy.
“Chaplains are Commissioned Officers who do have to follow orders given thru the chain of command. Does not make it right though.”
And *who* is at the top of that chain of command, the State or God?

And *who* is at the top of that chain of command, the State or God? Hint - I won’t be standing before Obama on the Day of Judgement.

Ask and ye shall receive:
“It sets a very bad precedent. Both of principle and as a matter of tactics and politics, it’s a serious misstep on the part of the administration,” said Galen Carey, vice president of government relations for the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE). “There needs to be a very robust religious exemption for any religious groups, not just churches.”
The NAE was among several evangelicals groups “in solidarity but separately” from Catholic groups that requested a stronger religious exemption after Health and Human Services ruled in August that insurance plans must provide contraception with no copayment.

“Ask and ye shall receive”
Not so fast there pardner, notice it is a statement from Galen Carey, vice president of government relations, to CT, a friendly publication of limited circulation; not an official statement from Leith Anderson, President of the NAE in the form of a public statement to the MSM. The NAE issued public statements on immigration, the environment etc. but so far, not on this important subject.
What is going to happen is the President will compromise with the Catholic institutions and the Evangelicals will benefit without any pain, proving once again, we are impotent; why should any one take us serious.
I said I wouldn’t be surprised. I didn’t “claim” anything. Learn how to read.
I quote your original post verbatim:
And I wouldnt be surprised if 46 million of them still supports obama.
To say that 46 million would "still support" Obama, is a claim that those 46 million supported him previously.

Yawn.
