Archbishop Timothy Broglio, who leads the Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services, wrote a letter to be read at all Sunday Masses for U.S. military personnel around the world that said that a regulation issued by the Obama Administration under the new federal health care law was “a blow” to a freedom that U.S. troops have not only fought to defend but for which some have recently died in battle. “It is a blow to a freedom that you have fought to defend and for which you have seen your buddies fall in battle,” the archbishop wrote.

The arrogance is incredible for O to FORCE his policies and agenda in an area that he has no business in. He does not understand the concept of freedom of individual choices, he only understands the control of the collective.
What a complete lack of respect for Catholicism, but the act represents something even larger.
I wonder what would happen if all the Catholics who actually meant it about abortion would get together and vote for Newt?
The Catholics that voted for Obama are brain dead. They have a condition called Utopmania.
The Archbishop will be at the prayer breakfast here on Fort Carson on the 9th. I wanted to go but was told each battalion is only getting FIVE tickets. One ticket goes to the Chaplin and one to his assistant. One goes to the BN Commander and one to the CSM. That leaves ONE ticket. I asked for three but was told there are none left. It seems rather convenient that there are not enough tickets for everyone who wants to go.
But I did print out the letter he sent and placed copies in a few places.
It is also illegal and un-Constitutional.
This is likely to get more than one Chaplain Courts Martial.
He is telling the truth. He will be punished.

Saw this headline and wondered, “Who is this brave archbishop?” It felt quite medieval.
Yes ... it's a complete rejection of the United States Constitution, of the concept of individual liberty, of the concept of freedom of conscience.
Zero is a totalitarian; he wants to control every decision in every aspect of every citizen's life.
Zero wants to control YOU.
Zero is no different in kind from Adolph Hitler, Josef Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, or Mohammed.

Yes, one would not be surprised to read that Obummer had said, “Who will rid me of this meddlesome priest?”
Perhaps all of the bishops should be issued flack jackets now.
