The NFL and a major television network are apologizing for another Super Bowl halftime show.
There was no wardrobe malfunction, nothing like that glimpse of Janet Jackson's nipple eight years ago that caused an uproar and a government scrutiny. Instead, it was an extended middle finger from British singer M.I.A. during Sunday night's performance of Madonna's new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin.'"
In front of some 110 million viewers on NBC and uncounted others online, she flipped the bird and appeared to sing, "I don't give a (expletive)" at one point, though it was hard to hear her clearly.

Everyone here said that was the WORST halftime show ever. We even had folks calling to say the same.
Darn, I must have been in the potty when that happened.
I would think the solution would be to pay them AFTER the show - if they misbehave they don’t get paid.

What I’d like to know is what in the heck are the girls in the background doing? Looks obscene to me but then again the whole Madonna thing looked obscene to me.
I think what the women are doing in the background of the first picture is way more newsworthy and salacious.

That is exactly what I was thinking while reading this thread. I don’t think you’d see Carrie Underwood or others like her doing such things at the half-time show.
Of course not. They know people watch the HT show just for something newsworthy.

On the other hand you have to applaud her HONESTY!
She expressed exactly how she, Madonna and a majority of those involved with pop culture actually feel about the Super Bowl audience, America and the vast majority of decent Americans.
Once again NBC and the NFL do there Claude Rains imitation -shocked, shocked that such a thing could happen.
If you were to interview her (or probably search the internet for past interviews) You would find she is full of vulgarity, hatred, and is a totally despicable person on all levels.
Surprising that extending the middle finger for 1/2 second is offensive, but having a crew of scantily clad females lying on their backs wriggling is OK.
We aren’t surprised. However, we used our remote to shut down our TV until the second half began. Of course there was going to be something filthy about the show. Don’t know how anyone could NOT have expected it.
Why not bring back some of the old fashioned acts to perform during Super Bowl halftime? Clean, decent acts with people in beautiful clothing, clean mouths, and true talent.
I wouldn’t go see that older woman who performed at the Super Bowl yesterday if it was free and front row seats. Those arms... yipes....
