Even if Romney wins the nomination he will win the race. Make no mistake, the numbers are not there for Obama.

As much as I detest Mitt, and I have very good reason living in Assachusetts, if he does get it we need to support him because we CANNOT survive another 4 years of Obama.

My sympathies for you in Massachusetts having to deal with the Romney aftermath!

FRiend, sentiments such as we CANNOT survive another 4 years of Obama reflect hysteria and blind fear, and while fear is a very good warning mechanism, it's a BAD guide for decisions and planning, and hysterical people are practically guaranteed to make moves that will lead to their defeat. Courage, on the other hand, leads to the path of victory.

Here's the truth: "We might not survive another four years of Obama."

Another truth, solid and certain, no "might" or "maybe" about it: If Romney got the White House, liberalism in the Republican and Democrat parties would grow more powerful.

Here are some "mights" and "maybes" and even "probablies" to ponder. If Obama won, Congress would VERY probably move hard right and Republicans would grow stronger in their ability to unite to fight the advaces of statism. If Romney won the White House, Congress would almost assuredly MOVE LEFT, and Republicans would most likely become nearly powerless and impotent in fighting the same advances in statism as Obama would make when they're being made by their own party's administration.

My thinking on this comes from acknowleding the warnings of fear, putting the fear aside, engaging in long contemplation, reflection, and thinking it through.

ALL THAT ASIDE, I also take very seriously the truth of "God and Country." Allegiance to God comes before allegiance to Country. A hard, solid TRUTH is that Romney has used his political office to PROMOTE easy, cheap abortion and the embrace of -- and even declaration of -- homosexuality in children -- this Gay Youth Pride group sanctioned by Romney "reaches out" to kids as young as 6th grade.

Both of those things, my FRiend, are abominations, brazen affronts to God and the Christian values on which the nation was founded. I believe that if it is a face-off between Romney and Obama in the 2012 General, it will be a test from God to see if Americans will put God before Country and resist the temptation to justify voting to make the most powerful politician in a nation founded "under God" such an agent of evil as to use his political office to enable cheap abortion-on-demand PLUS leading innocent children astray to the embrace of biblically proscribed sexual perversion.

The election of Romney, no matter how Americans justified it, would be to willfully debase our blessed United States of America, and I believe would invite the wrath of God and give Him reason to abandon us.

On the other hand, if we God-loving, God-fearing Americans are FAITHFUL and COURAGEOUS enough to put God before Country and reject such an agent of heinous depravity as Romney IS, even though it meant another four years of Obama -- I believe to the depths of my heart that God would then BLESS US in our endeavors to vanquish Obama and all the immoral statism of liberalism, and that God would bless us in our efforts to reclaim America.

Between Obama and Romney, voting on the premise that Romney is the "lesser evil" is to strike a bargain with the Devil. I'd rather put my faith in GOD and trust that by doing what will please HIM will most likely save our country. I REFUSE to debase myself or my Country by trying to justify voting FOR a person, Romney, who has perpetrated such heinous evil in America as leading innocent children astray.

GODSPEED NEWT GINGRICH.

LOL! I heard that! I don't truly trust Romney, because, also being a resident of MA, he didn't earn our trust, but he'll be a darn sight better than Obama! And if we work to get more conservatives in the House and Senate, it will bolster the Republican President to support them in any changes they want to make.
