Regardless of what Ann says, I made up my mind I couldn’t vote for Newt when the whole Fanny/Freddie connection came out. That ended it for me. If Newt is the GOP nominee, obviously I will vote for him, but if the primary comes down to Newt/Mitt, it will be Mitt. Neither man is perfect, both have flipped and flopped...but some things bother you more than others, and that is mine.

Have you actually researched Newt's connection with Fanny/Freddy? It was back during the Bush Administration and he was hired as a consultant. His advice was that Fanny/Freddy needed oversite. The Fanny/Freddy housing crisis was due to Dodd/Frank.

So Newt working for Franny and Freddie is more important in your mind than RomObamacare?

“I made up my mind I couldn’t vote for Newt when the whole Fanny/Freddie connection came out.”

Why? I don’t understand why you would demonize an individual for earning a living as a consultant, even if you do not like the employer.
