(excerpt) Newt needs to attack Romney's one strength. His aura of "electability." Romney likes to ridicule. Newt can do that same. Romney is such a clownish figure, it would be easy to present him as such. The most effect ad Newt could run is 60 seconds of Romney stuttering and fumbling around, plus his statements like "Corporations are people my friend," "I like being able to fire people," and "I don't care about the really poor." Then simply fade in the text "Mitt Romney is electable..." "Oh really?"
Then Newt should focus his campaign again on his own strength - that he is a change agent. His message should be that electing Romney will change parties but not policies in Washington. The bailouts will continue. The spending will continue. The gravy train will continue. This is our last chance to right the ship, and only Newt will change business as usual.
That is the winning message.
