Roseanne Barr was (occasionally) funny. Her riffs on real life in a working class Chicago family during the first and second year she had a show rang fairly true until she went all in for the Lesbian conversion.

But how anyone so lacking in talent as Rosie O'Donnell (I mean NO talent) ever became employed in what is euphemistically called "entertainment" is one of the absolute mysteries.

As I’ve written here before, you can expect to see Oprah back on broadcast TV by 2015—at the latest. OWN is bleeding money at an unsustainable rate, and the folks at Discovery (which ins underwriting the venture) are facing a critical choice. Keep throwing massive sums of money at a network with a dwindling audience, or pull the plug, and endure a p.r. nightmare as the outfit that “fired Oprah.”

As a reformed broadcaster, I can tell you exactly what Discovery will do. They will continue the down-sizing; Rosie will get the axe around the end of the year; there will be a rush to cheaper programming and “The Queen” will either resign (or be forced out) in a couple of years—at the latest.

And for what it’s worth, Oprah won’t be welcomed back to broadcast TV with open arms. Her audience was in decline for years before she signed off, and there are lots of cheaper programming options to fill the mid-morning or mid-afternoon time slots.

Rosie’s new digs in Chi-Town:

“the 6,000 square-foot home includes five bedrooms and five bathrooms, 11-foot ceilings, extensive millwork and custom cabinetry, along with a security system, sports bar and home theater.
...
Aside from the interior, the property has a 2,000 square-foot roof deck outdoors and a three-car heated garage. “

Maybe she can move her studio to her garage - it is, after all, heated.

And rent out her house - and live on the 2,000 sq’ patio - she’s insulated enough to take the cold.

LOL, the Queen of Nice.

On her first show, before she assaulted Tom Selleck on air, she used to pretend she had a crush on fellow weirdo homosexual Tom Cruise.

Everything about leftists is a lie.

AS far as Oprah goes I never watched the show but have to believe her "sell-by" date has expired some time ago.

Yep, remember years ago Rosie O’Donnell was the Queen of Nice on a previous talk show. It seems like a lifetime ago, but at that time, when she was still in the closet, both sexually and politically, she presented herself as a likeable character funny woman.

There is not a mass audience wanting to be lectured about liberalism and lesbianism and global warming and 911 conspiracy theories and all the rest of it. We all vote no by deciding not to watch her show.

Re-runs of Cake Boss and Super Nanny get better ratings than Rosie. Go figure.

200,000 viewers? An infomercial for a free kick in the crotch could beat those ratings.

They should choose to move Rosie to a more natural environment: Animal Planet.
