Thats right there were!! I think tho they were deployed w/ a ‘crew’ of 2 men. The things are heavy not to mention the ammo. Ive never fired on but did get to handle it. Was all boxed w/ its fitments and what not.

They were the Lahti made in Finland. Fired the 20mm round. They were originally designed as an anti tank rifle but did not meet expectations for obvious reasons.

The Finns, Poles, and Japanese all fielded 20mm antitank rifles, but 20mm only equates to .79” .
So this is larger than 20mm diameter.

Weren't there some Scandinavian 20mm shoulder fired rifles?That would be .787 caliber weapon. A .950 caliber would be the equivalent of 24 mm. Either one is what used to be called a "cannon" when mounted on a fighter aircraft.
