Yes, see my post 17.
You would think the pedants around here believe cooks can't convert from English measurements to metric.
My point was the 20mm didn't work well as a shoulderfired, and the .950 should suck about 4.x mm more.

Thats what those Yosemite Sam revolver rounds look like outside Toon Town.LOL. If you ever tried shooting one of those rounds in a revolver, they'd find your arm over in the next town.

Any Navy guys can correct me, but I believe the the main armament on the Iowa class battleships are called rifles.

Less of a rifle. More of a small field artilery piece.

Put er in mah gun cabinet next to mah 12.5 ga. shotgun. I have a 10 gage Super Goose that fires only 3 1/2 inch magnums. 36" full choke barrel with a bolt action. That thing kicks like a mule.

“2400 grain bullet! That isnt so much a rifle as it is field artillery.”
More like a stick of dynamite.

We used to do that with Coke cans, back in the pre-aluminum era.

If you want “field artillery” in a rifle, we used to have the 106 Recoil-less Rifle back in the day.

Here is an oddball made by the Confederacy, maybe half a dozen. I grabbed the footage at a reenactor event and got to speak to the owner. Excellent.

Glad you like. The owner found it and sent a nice message and asked for a good copy. I sent him a 20MB. The master was about 400 in size.
When it was out there during the reenactment, it looked really out of place. I would have figured another 10 or 20 years ahead.
