Actually it’s on “hold” they never did away with it. The reason it’s on hold was so Utah could get statehood. It’s in their doctrine still.

Right after the 1890 proclamation and Utah was now a state the Mormons sent their first congressman to Washington...a well known polygamist...
How sincere is that ???

BTW that Mormon prophet who made the proclamation never did “put away” his extra wives...
