Mitt Romney’s Mormon firewall

Mitt Romney’s Mormon faith — once viewed as a potentially dangerous drag on his 2012 campaign — may quickly become an invaluable asset that helps him lock up the Republican presidential nomination. Now that he has survived, if only barely, the evangelical-dominated contests in Iowa and South Carolina, Romney is poised to benefit as the geography of the GOP race moves west to states such as Nevada, Arizona and Colorado.

I really think a lot of things could happen. Romney is going to get those liberal and Mormon states, but I can’t see him getting any red states. A lot can happen and I hope it does. I’m a Santorum fan, Newts my second choice ,I’d even vot for Paul, maybe. But I just can’t in good conscience vote for Romney. If we let the establishment push us into this corner again, like when they pushed McCain on us, then we are just like democrats who do what they are told. We will never have a conservative in office, because they know they can take advantage of us and we won’t do anything about it.

Did you get the impression That I am mormon or as they call themselves Christian-Mormon? (that makes me mad, because they slander Jesus by calling him satans brother, then want to pretend they are Christian, if they are embarrassed to be Mormon, maybe they should reevaluate what they believe ) I belong to a Evangelical Free church, I grew up Catholic. I just happen to find some info on Mormons and thought I would post it. I too don’t see how they can buy into what they believe . If they base there faith first on the bible then the mormon book second. You would think if they read the bible once, they would see the direct warnings the bible told us to watch out for, false religions. (beware, even if an angel appears to you and preaches a different gospel don’t believe it) That is exactly what happened so they can’t claim they did not know. I had a Mormon on this site ask me why should people believe the bible, just because Paul said something does not make it true. She apparently does not believe the bible is the Inspired word of God.
