Yeah, Chevy Volt sold a whopping total of 603 cars last month. This commercial is ripe for parody. Post your Chevy Volt commercial parody ideas.

My own submission is that the aliens are so unimpressed with the Chevy Volt that they take a Yugo into their Mother Ship instead.

Notice that the aliens were way more interested in the guy’s wife than they were in the Chevy Volt?

A guy was on Fox news yesterday morning, I forget his name, but he said they gave him a Volt to try out.

He said he only went 18 miles before the gas kicked in and when it kicked in he got 30 MPG with the thing.

I guess that would get me to the closest grocery store to me, but I would have to gas it back.

My commercial would show a Volt sitting at a stop sign with two Gaia worshipers in it. A little girl rides through the crosswalk and one of her tires accidentally brushes the front bumper, and then the Volt busts into flames and incinerates the two greenies that are now screaming in agony.

Then an announcer says: Chevy Volt, reducing carbon emmissions, two greenies at a time.

LOL! There are some really FUnnie comments posted to this YouTube video. Here are some of them:

The electric Edsel.

Most electrical power in the United States is generated using coal. This is a coal powered car.

Yeah. A species which has mastered interstellar space travel - is amazed by a partially electric car.

They sell 600-800 Volts a month, mostly to fleets. In the very unlikely event that this one commercial could double their sales for the month, that would be an extra $5,000 in advertising costs per additional car sold. This is what happens when the criminal class takes over a business under crony capitalism - they have no business sense at all. I hope and pray that GM will die soon. Whether it is soon or not though, I am boycotting that corrupt company forever.

At a starting price of $32,000.000 - seems to me that Governmint Motors is making coal powered cars for the 1%, and giving them rebates paid for by the hard working the middle class!

I’m speechless. Really. Simply awful GM. Too pathetic to even joke about.

Eric Bolling test drove one last week, and reported on it on “The Five.”

It wasn’t exactly positive.

Looks like the distance on battery keeps going down. My Camry with a pretty potent V-6 gets 23-25 locally and 30 on the highway (at 72 mph - up to 33 at 60 mph and as little as 26 if I keep it a tad above 80 on those long dark Alabama stretches between population centers). I only have to "plug it in" to a gas pump for 6 minutes a week (350-450 miles depending on type of driving) and it cost under $29K without a government subsidy.

I have a small Toyota Camry I bought for $1,500 3 years ago

Runs great, gets about 40 MPG on the Thruway.

I will drive it until it melts into a pile of rust, which will NOT be anytime soon, as far as I can tell.
