The Earth's temperature hasn't increased significantly in about 15 years, which wouldn't be big news except global warming extremists had predicted temperatures would soar during that time because of manmade greenhouse-gas emissions.
That forecast would be just another failed hypothesis, except governments around the world used the threatened overheating as an excuse to regulate, tax and subsidize in order to curb greenhouse gases and, of course, to save the Earth. . . .

It evens out, we are having one of the coldest summers in memory along the coasts from Brisbane to Sydney to Melbourne to Adelaide and everyone is complaining.
Also, remember that drought that was “caused by global warming” and all the global activists said that Australia was never going to have good rains again? Well, it just keeps raining and raining in Brisbane/Sydney/Melbourne and people are also complaining about all the rain.
Actually the only place winter is warmer this year is in the lower latitudes in the USA. In Europe, specifically eastern Europe, it is much colder than normal, about 90 deaths so far this winter from the cold. The Arctic, Alaska and Canada are also experiencing much colder weather.
This should be heralded as good news, except it won’t be.

I have no problem clicking on his paper. If their advertising revenue increases by 1/1000 of a cent because of it, it's worth it to help them stay in business.
Given the quantity of meaningless baloney from obscure and often talentless bloggers posted here more and more, these posts are a net plus to FR.

Global Warming on Free Republic
Roy Spencer (http://www.drroyspencer.com/) just posted the UAH satellite temperature anomaly for January. It came in at 0.09C BELOW "normal" for January. I believe "normal" is defined as the first 30-yrs of satellite data averaged.
