I won’t say he’s not going to use part of the land for agricultural purposes, but he’s likely doing a Peter Jackson or George Lucas, and developing the land for his movies and special effects.

That’s how you make more money. Remove the middle man as much as possible.

He’s Canadian. He’s made a boatload of money in the U.S. Now he wants to go live in New Zealand and farm. It’s his money, his life, and he can do anything he wants.

No lines between which to read.

“The message is loud and clear. Are you listening?”

Yeah, I’ll pick up a farm tomorrow while I’m out running errands.

Yes, if you have a farm, you are safe from strife! Splendid isolation!

Tell that to the farmers of Poland or Vietnam. New Zealanders and Australians would be speaking Japanese today if not for the US Army, Navy, and Marine Corps.

If TSHF - really hits, then he is a dead man. A swarm of Maori gang members will take over his land. End of story. End of Cameron.

Sound pretty boring. I predict he’ll be back in the US within 2 years.

Having spent 14 day’s in New Zealand, Lake Raturreo ( Pronounced Rha-Tour-O), it’s a volcanic country, nothing says New Zealand like the smell of Sulfur in the morning (All day actually), and like in the Pacific Northwest Seattle area, where pollen can cover a car with a lite coating, New Zealand (Lake Raturreo Area) it’s Sulfur. Worst when it rain’s.

By the way, New Zealand has a VERY BIG PROBLEM, with what I’ll call “Volcanic Outbreak,” you could go to work in the morning and come home to a house that’s been declared unsafe, because of the “Volcanic Outbreak,” think open hole in the earth, with HOT STEAM & Sulfur Vapor’s coming out. Because of this problem, New Zealand has instituted a insurance pool, that everyone has to pay into.

The message is loud and clear. Are you listening?

Why go to an island if you think the turd is going to hit the air movement device? Any island like New Zealand would be stripped clean like Easter Island. I think he has political motivations for his move.

Liberty Media CEO James Malone, like director James Cameron, has also taken refuge outside of major cities at his ranch on the Quebec border, giving him and his family an immediate international bug out plan in the event of an emergency.

He's also got a lot of land out in the American Rockies.

The problem with the "bug out" theory: if you think the US is headed for trouble, why buy land on this side of the border?

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy foreign land?
