It’s not my title. Newspapers. And of course, the Chronicle got in their shot on Santorum about some mother struggling to pay her kid’s prescription drugs, implying that only government can help.

To me, there's a bright light in the sand between private charity and government social programs. Some seem to blur that line, like Santorum. The federal government is not constitutionally authorized to redistribute wealth. Giving tax money to others, to include everything from welfare to subsidies to businesses, is not a public use. Of course, that would prevent politicians from channeling government largess to their special interests, so what's the fun in that?
