What a knucklehead! I thought that this guy Romney was supposed to be an economic conservative, at least. He’s not even that!

a position sharply at odds with traditional GOP business allies, conservatives and the party's senior lawmakers. You might as well make a macro for this phrase. News writers will be using it a lot over the next few months.

Unbelievable. The CA minimum wage was raised not too long ago. The result was a substantial rise in the cost of living in this state. When will Libtards understand that increasing wages of an entry level job artificially only hurts those who they THINK they are helping (along with all the rest of us)? Governmental increases in minimum wage results in lost jobs and increased consumer prices. This ain’t rocket science.

Minimum wage workers will get raises. Government employees will get raises. Both of which will cause (increased) inflation, so welfare beneficiaries will get raises. Which will raise our taxes, which will cause the regular, hard-working, tax-paying legal American to have yet, another, reduction in standard of living and ability to save for our own retirements.

OK I have defended Romney when people go off on him here. I don’t support his position on this at all. Minimum wage is one of those government mistakes/ liberal traps which do the opposite of what is intended.
I still will vote for the nominee, and I think Mitty is trying to pivot a bit for the general. I would have preferred he take that position back in light of the current economic situation.
Go Newt and Santorum.

- Stick finger up in the air.
- Note wind speed and direction.
- Bloviate accordingly.
Either that or Willard is completely ignorant regarding even the most basic economic principles.
