Investigators have determined what happened to nearly all of the customer money that disappeared from MF Global around the time of its bankruptcy last Oct. 31, but have not publicly disclosed their progress, fearing that doing so might cripple efforts to recover the cash and pursue potential wrongdoing, people briefed on the investigation said.

“Pursue potential wrongdoing...”. To what end? A harshly worded letter?
A billion dollars butters a lot of Democrat bread.
Jaim’em all for two lifetimes!!! Greedy good for nothings.
Unless it was physically carried out as cash in an unmarked truck, tracing the electronic flow of funds was just a matter of time.
No doubt MF money will suddenly appear in the Donk campaign this fall.
....and there’ll be no additional disclosures until, say, around the middle of November.
Yeah .. they should turn them over to the UN ... that’ll fix ‘em.
It’s now part of Obama’s STASH.
Gosh! It seems as if MF Global sent a lot of that now missing money to JP Morgan Chase bank, which is also one of the top ten contributors to Mr. Romney’s campaign coffers.
So would it be fair to ask if Mr. Romney is funding his campaign from “questionable” sources and should he give it back?

National Enquirer: OBAMA LINKED TO WALL STREET SCANDAL
National Enquirer ^ | February 1, 2012
Disgraced financier JON CORZINE whos What Me Worry tactics sunk MF Global, is still OBAMAs go to guy to raise money to re-elect the President.
The ex- head of MF Global, former New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine told a congressional committee he had no clue of what happened to $1.2 billion of his Wall Street clients money following the $6.3 billion collapse last fall of the brokerage firm Corzine ran.
Torpedoed by Corzine risking everything on European debt, MF sunk into oblivion.
But an audit couldnt account for $1.2 billion, suggesting Corzine may have illegally mixed client funds with the companys own.
The Wall Street Journal reported investigators believe a significant amount of the monies may have been vaporized by chaotic MF Global trading.
But it hasnt stopped Corzine from continuing to raise tons of cash for the Obama-Biden re-election campaign more than $500,000, according to the official web site.
That makes Corzine one of the presidents biggest volunteer fundraisers in the nation.
When Obama first entered The White House— and before Corzines financial ruin — he told press Corzine was his go-to guy for financial advice and there was speculation among DC insiders that Corzine might be named Obamas Treasury secretary.
And while Obama would now like to publicly distance himself of his past confidence in the one-time financial wizard evidently Team Obama has NO problem in taking money from Corzine — and his super-wealthy pals.
Don’t know if it is true, but I read a blurb somewhere that Putin issued an arrest warrant for George Soros because he was financially backing the opposition party there. I’ll try to see if I can find a legit article somewhere.
Hear is the Putin issues arrest warrant for Soros link.http://www.investorvillage.com/smbd.asp?mb=4245&mn=660502&pt=msg&mid=11405328
“Disgraced financier JON CORZINE”
In other news, Jon Corzine and he wife continue to look for a suitable residence in the Cote d”Azure. Maybe the screwed farmers should hire a “hit man.” At least then they would know for sure Corzine wouldn’t screw anyone else.
1. When Congress asked Abelow about "previously working with Corzine," close-mouthed Abelow reluctantly mentioned being Gov Corzine's COS.
2. Abelow MADE NO MENTION of Corzine appointing him to head NJ's Dept of the Treasury---where the two con artists controlled ALL of NJ's tax assets.
3. Abelow and Corzine SHOULD have been pressed about their formation of an investment company while they were principals of NJ govt and controlled its assets. The two "financial geniuses" later said they did not know investment companies run by govt principals are illegal.
4. Abelow also failed to disclose his current position---as chairman of the EPAs Financial Advisory Board. NOTE: The current EPA head also served in Gov Corzine's adminstration.
5. Abelow 's financial activities at EPA need top to bottom investigations. eds to know why Abelow is witholding crucial info. What does he have to hide?
========================================
POINTS TO PONDER
<><>Bradley Abelow, an MBA from Yale School of Management, served as chief of Staff to the Governor of New Jersey in the Cabinet of Gov. Jon Corzine.
<><>Corzine first appointed Abelow as State Treasurer where the two con artists had total control of all NJ assets.
<><>Abelow and Crozine were top executives at Goldman Sachs.
<><>Abelow was MF Global Chief Operating Officer; Corzine was MF's CEO.
<><> G/S alumni Chris Flowers controlled Corzine's "blind trust" while Corzine was in public office Flowers is also an MF principal.
====================================================
ANALYSIS It defies imagination and common sense that these "financial geniuses" told Congress they can't figure out where the missing $1.2 billion is.
Monies transferred in and out of MF Global continually.....all done by wire transfer------EFT. There's a clear record of when, where, and how much for EACH wire transfer......like your cell phone bill. Each call is listed, the number dialed, the time of the call, and the duration. So they absolutely know exactly who got the $$, and when it was received.
Corzine/Abelow/Flowers were not able to remove the customer funds alone. It required conspiring and colluding with most of MF's key back office personnel ........who all had to know that it was 100% illegal to do so. Yet NO ONE blew the whistle, and called the regulators? This underlines the corrupt corporate culture that predominates today on Wall Street.
So, why did they go along? Were they assured it would be put back in a day or two......that it was a temporary glitch? If they didn't agree, the firm would go under? Their jobs would be lost if they didnt go along?
Savvy observers say many MF insiders are now working out deals with the Feds, to name names and provide direct testimony as to who exactly ordered the customers' funds to be removed from the accounts.
Count on direct testimony that Corzine ordered illegal acts.......written records are also to surface. Corzine is toast. Obama and the Dems will toss him under the bus. Corzine is making a huge mistake by underestimating the anger of Jerseyans he left holding the bag----he socked us with massive debt, bankrupt state agencies, and a state pension fund 25% lighter,
Corzine departed with billions of tax assets unaccounted for. Throwing him under a bus is too good for him......considering the damage he's caused.
get to him
