I believe that if she’d had the money she wouldn’t hesitate to engage in a scorched earth campaign. She did engage in lies and distortions in her attacks on Newt. I was one that went to DC to stand with her on the Capitol steps against obamacare. My wife and I thought on such a short notice there may not be a large enough turnout to make the point, we decided that if only one could be with her it should be me. My wife has supported Newt Gingrich for President since 1996. I was hesitant this year because I didn’t really want to get caught up in explaing his baggage, I thought Rick Perry could be the ONE. As the campaign unfolded it became apparent to me that we really did need Newt.

I remember that. It was very short notice and thought she might be doing more harm than good, because it would look like no one cared enough to go. When the reason was the short notice. Unlike “Occupy Wall-street” types, conservatives like to keep their jobs.
