The NY Times buried it on page A17.
A Fast & Furious fib - Holes in Holders testimony?
That information came in a series of e-mails in which the former US attorney in Arizona, Dennis Burke, discussed the F&Fs first fatality, agent Brian Terry, with a Holder deputy. The e-mails were sent in the early hours of Dec. 15, 2010, the day Terry died of wounds received the day before in a shootout 18 miles inside the US border, near Nogales.
The deputy, Monty Wilkinson, responded: Tragic. Ive alerted the AG.

Still, because the report was written by Democrats, the political impact of its conclusion exonerating high-level officials of wrongdoing may be limited. When the truth comes out, all these will have exposed themselves as accessories after the fact.

I had to make sure as I thought it was AzConservative, but with the NYT is is difficult to tell truth from fiction.

Well then, that settles it. Whew. We can now move to other pressing matters. Like the re-election of Obama.

This is one of the Congressional Black Caucus clowns who thinks white folk just pretended to like Herman Cain to hide their foul racism.

"keeping Guam from capsizing"
Yes, our Representatives have failed to give the pressing issue of Island flipping enough attention. I say, appoint a Island Stability Czar immediately. AND we need to send a delegation to the south pacific for a fact finding tour. Of course they will have to make a few stops at golf courses in Hawaii.

Who is going to buy this when the Criminal Division AUSA just invoked his 5th Amendment rights?
Let me be blunt. You can't lay on an operation like this without the help of the AUSA. All your wiretaps, subpoenas, warrants, etc. have to go through the AUSA. It doesn't matter if the head of ATF tells you to do it himself, you still can't get that stuff without the concurrence and support of the AUSA's office.
To buy this load of garbage one has to give a pass on Holder having no responsibility for either his enforcement agencies or the U.S. Attorneys that work directly for him. Additionally, at this point the scandal has gotten to breaking down the coverup and we don't even know what they were trying to cover up yet.
