A team of researchers from the University of California, Riverside (UCR) say they are close to determining whether or not anti-matter exerts a sort of anti-gravity in much the same what that ordinary matter exerts regular gravity.
In an article published Friday, BBC News reports that, while it is well known that normal matter attracts all other matter in the universe, scientists currently do not know if anti-matter would attract other matter, or repel it.

Hey - it’s California...
The Legislature can simply pass a law outlawing Gravity - and pay for any expenses (AKA bribes and payoffs) with another new Cap&Tax scheme....
Just ‘business as usual’....
Careful with that......
The democrats came up with Pelosium and I was repelled
by that.
But seriously folks......didn't it used to be that when antimatter and matter came together that there was a violent explosion and release of energy????? According to this article, they could never meet for said explosion.
Curious.
Does that mean I’ll weigh less?
Silly people, have they never seen a magnet. {:-)
I dreamed about something like that last night..... we accidently pulled the magnetic north pole to the US-Canadian border.
hhhmmmmm
"I've got it... Nudity!"
Mark
I’ve always been anti-gravity!
Now if we could find anti gabberty to use on the left
When it comes to finances then they think they have already discovered it in California.
Is this why they're so light in the loafers in California?
Is that something like being GRAVITYPHOBE ?
Another theory I’ve been pondering for a while is that the reason the graviton has never been found is because it does not exist, that gravity is in fact a “virtual” force caused the the distortion of time-space by mass-energy.
A way to visualize this is by using the two dimensional model of space-time as a grid, with massive bodies making indentations in space-time. Typically it is used to explain that black holes make such a deep indentation that even light cannot escape from their distortion of space-time.
But this distortion of space-time alone is enough to create an illusion of gravity. No gravity, just distortion that acts on anything with mass as if gravity was a thing.
This makes sense when you ask yourself that if mass can distort space, what is it actually distorting? A “space” particle? A “time” particle?
If scientists ever do figure out how to make appreciable amounts of anti-matter I hope they store it off-planet and I won’t be setting foot on any space ship powered by anti-matter. But then I’ll be dead long before then unless they can do something about this aging thing.
I think that has been done before. A gentleman that worked at the Bern Patent Office did a bit of work on this. His theory was precisely as yours. His work was done in his spare time at the patent office in 1905. The reason he was working in the patent office was his inability to gain employment in a university as a physicist and or mathematician.
Although schooled in math and physics he was not an outstanding student and had difficulty in finding work in his fields of study, thus his job at the patent office in Switzerland. In later years his absolute and total genius was appreciated.
His name was Albert Einstein.
