This is like a roller coaster!!!

If Rick endorses Newt, it will be a game-changer.

Let’s hope he does it before tomorrow.

If Newt gets Florida, Mitt’s probably finished.

Since Fl is winner take all, it is pivital for the nomination. Newt is lagging behind the McRomney GOP machine and their big $. Only hope now for Conservatives is for Rick to drop out and endorse Newt. Otherwise, we are screwed.

I hope he stays in. Newt was horrible Thursday night, had no real responses to Mitt, and didn’t turn any of the questions his way. Both he and Romney are damaged goods. If Newt can’t beat Romney on his own, he won’t with Rick out either and Rick had dynamite answers Thurs.

Flame away!

I would be curious to hear Santorum’s reasons for endorsing Newt if he does. He seems more in line with Romney, frankly.

Senator, I know you have the courage to do this.

Newt and Rick are splitting the vote.

That’s how Clinton beat Bush Sr, because of Perot.

I’m sure Rick is a fine fellar, but he’s not going to be president, even if it were Newt to drop out.

Santorum needs to get back into the Senate, that’s where I think he belongs.

He seems more in line with Romney

I don't see that at all. I'd be floored if RS endorsed Romney.

I agree. Except on abortion and family issues, every time you can look for Rick Santorum standing on the brige with the establishment. He has dropped from 16 to 9 in Florida and still stays mum.

Rick is either clinically arrogant, a vulture, or clearly the buffer tool for Romney to slow Newt down for the Romney cash knock out underway in Florida. We have run out of any other possible reasons. Heck, his lousy 9% by now couldn’t stop Romney if it is true that he ahead now by double digits. Newt needed Santorum on Bloody Thursday. By now, Newt must despise santorum. Rick’s stock is in the dumper for me, that’s for sure.

Santorum needs to go back and take out “Thicker-Then-a-Whale-Omlet” Casey. Maybe Pennsylvanians now realize that “Little Bobby” is NOT his father.

“Newt was horrible Thursday night”

You can’t just arbitrarily call something horrible just because you feel like it.

The only people who would think he was “horrible” are his opponents and those who oppose the policies he very boldly articulated.

I didn’t realize his numbers had dropped to 9%.

He had a fairly good debate Thursday night, but then left Fla to go home to do his taxes?

This makes no sense.

(I do regret that he has family illness now and pray for all involved.)

And Newt would endorse Rick, as they are the top two conservatives, with Rick being the most conservative.
