Kelly and accuser exchanged messages before, after alleged rape
NEW YORK POST ^ | January 29, 2012 | BRAD HAMILTON

It was just a chance encounter on a downtown street — but she was instantly enamored.

“I’ve seen you on TV. You’re so cute,” said the woman who would later accuse Greg Kelly of rape, according to a law-enforcement source.

The brunette crossed paths with the handsome “Good Day New York” host two days before the alleged attack.

“She stopped him,” the source said. “She told him she was star-struck.”

DA TAKING HIS TIME ON CASE

What followed was about 48 hours of marathon sexting ahead of their Saturday-night date at the South Street Seaport.

“The texts were explicit,” said the source. “They were sexual. They talked about what they wanted to do to each other.

“It was two days of foreplay.”

Kelly and the 29-year-old paralegal — an aspiring model and actress whose name is being withheld by The Post — also spoke by phone and exchanged e-mails before meeting up, the source said.

On the night of their date, the woman’s boyfriend was at home, so she concocted an excuse to get out on her own.

“She lied to the boyfriend to meet Greg that night. She said, ‘I’m going out with a girlfriend,’ ” said the source.

They ordered drinks at a seaport bar, running up a tab that another source has described as “laughably low” — and then headed to the woman’s lower-Manhattan law firm.

They had sex there — right in her boss’s office, the source said.

If the woman was upset about the randy romp, she gave no clue in follow-up messages to Kelly, the son of Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, the source said.

“They continued to text,” the source said. “Part of it was about arranging another date.”

In total, there were 17 text messages between the two.

“You don’t text your...

This is a follow-up to this story, which broke on the same day as two other stories critical of Greg's father, Ray Kelly, arising out of NYPD/Muslim relations.

"no" means "no".
And now it seems that "yes" also means "no".

Considering that she was willing to text him afterwards, it doesn’t sound like rape to me.

It sounds like her boyfriend may have found out about the texts and she had to cover her backside about it.

This is an orchestrated attempted to take out Greg’s father, Ray, a Republican, from the Mayoral race in NYC.

When a lady says “no” she means “maybe.”
When a lady says “maybe” she means “yes.”
When a lady says “yes” she’s no lady.

Sounds like someone thinks the real world is just like academe, where “rape” and “sexual assault” seem to mean have elastic meanings ranging from what they mean to ordinary English speakers to any sex a woman later regrets and there is no presumption of innocence or right to confront the accuser when the accuser is female and the accused is male.

If the facts of the case are adequately reflected in this article, I hope the New York prosecutor’s office throws the proverbial book at her for filing a false report and Mr. Kelly files and wins a lawsuit for defamation.

I don’t think so. Neither of the stories about this allegation mentions a current or previous marriage, nor does his Wikipedia entry.

Let’s see - goes out to have drinks with a man not her boyfriend - lies that she’s going out with a woman friend - wants a private place instead of a public bar and goes to her office with date because boyfriend is home.

Finds herself pregnant and boyfriend has had a vasectomy.

“You don’t text your rapist — other than to say, ‘You’re awful,’ ” the source said.

But the woman, whose brother is an NYPD sergeant assigned to the crime-scene unit, insisted she was sexually assaulted by Greg Kelly..."

Ultimately I bet Kelly walks.

She sounds like a real big whore. Sex on her boss's desk? She has probably been on that desk with everyone. Greg must be a pervert like Bill Clinton.

I guess now Greg knows how Mike Tyson felt when he was accused of rape.

Mike got convicted.

Not only should he walk, but he should sue the girl for malicious prosecution if he is prosecuted, libel if he is not. The privilege for reporting information to the police does not attach to statements made in bad faith, knowing they are false.

Seems the woman became pregnant and had an abortion and the boyfriend has had a vasectomy.

I think the abortion messed her mind up and now she’s blaming the sperm donor for getting her pregnant. Punishment time.

O.K. I,ve read the whole story and this is what it sounds like to me.

She wanted to have a tryst with this man unbeknownst to her boyfriend. She texted him a ton before they met, she lied to the boyfriend on where she was going, she met up with him and they had sex in her fathers office. Texts then continued on after this incident.

Close to 3 months go by and she finds out shes pregnant and she tells the boyfriend that she didn’t want to tell him that this man raped her. Now her story spirals out of control and she now has to stick with the story or lose everything - boyfriend included.

This is my take! Anyone else?
