I'm a Mark Levin fan and even record the show for later playback (I know he posts it immediately afterward on his website for free). However, his defense of Drudge on Friday was out of bounds as far as I'm concerned. Drudge, as most all of you know, posted titles and links to over a dozen anti-Newt articles on his website on Thursday. The amount and tone of those articles meant that the posting was not an accident and someone, Drudge or his underlings, deliberately posted them to disparage Newt and make it appear that Newt and Reagan were not in agreement with the conservative agenda. Plus rehashing all the old ethics charges which have been explained on here during the past two weeks. Why Mark so forcefully chose to come to Drudge's defense is unknown. But his posting here could be a way to attempt reconciliation. We will have to see if he comments on Monday on the hornets nest he stirred up last Friday.

Just read something where Fred Thompson says Romney has Drudge in his pocket or rather his staff is bragging about it.
Is there no one on our side? Are they all going to sell the American people and America out for the greedy selves. They don’t deserve to live in America and call themselves Americans if they don’t stand up.

Why are they waiting until it is too late to show the nation what Romney is? Where are our friends in the media?
I work in grassroots. We are hitting a head wind with all of these Conservative talkers covering for a liberal who put into law socialized medicine..
We are going to end up with Obama.
Supporters of liberty will be so depressed, they will never get out to vote in record numbers to stop Obama.

Maybe with all the proof of Romeny's planned attack on Newt...even the NY Slimes has an article on it, and with JimRob's open letter and the Pam Bondi fiasco, TGO and Rush will cover this attack thoroughly on Monday's shows.
Pray for Newt...pray for America.

Wow. Levin said barely anything about Drudge and yet you are pushing it all out of proportion. Levin is a patriot and this column proves it. As does his radio show - every single day - as you well know it.
To: freekitty
Willard does. Levin is blind to it. But then again, Levin supporting Santorum who has basically suspended his campaign makes ZERO sense.
Are these guys ratings higher with libs in office?
Is it all about money for Levin? And Rush? And Savage?

Chrsite....yes it’s tough right now but plug away just the same....the people still have to vote and many are praying God himself will move the masses to Newt....but we do our part as thing moves along.
When you said headwind I thought of the deciples on the boat in a storm...while Jesus slept....good story.

But it sure is funny how Drudge and some individuals of “excellence” in broadcasting fame have failed to mention the negatives on Romney.

Levin seems to be the only conservative talker who isn’t in need of a dose of mental Viagra after this past week.
Maybe that’s whey he’s called The Great One...

Wow. Levin said barely anything about Drudge and yet you are pushing it all out of proportion. You can listen for yourself, after the first break in Friday's show, Levin telling us to lay off Drudge, that he's done so much good for the country and journalism, etc. Defends his putting up links - some days more than others. And he said he's a good friend of Drudge.

Mark also said he would support Romney if he is the candidate - on that I am personally conflicted.

Thus, he resorts to spending multi-millions of dollars trashing his opponents, rather than providing thoughtful arguments on conservatism and constitutionalism. That's because with Romney, there's no there there. Empty suit, used car salesman, a la Obama.

I just see the dis-spirited voter in the future.
It will be a problem we will have to face.
Thanks for the kind words.
