During the last debate, Speaker Gingrich was drawing a comparison between his wealth and Romney's. He used his right hand closed and low to indicate his wealth and left arm held high to indicate Romney's. A mouse vs an elephant, I believe, is what he said.
Romney's reaction at the mention of his vast wealth - was to puff up his chest, smile broadly and nod his head in the affirmative. He even pivoted his body toward Speaker Gingrich.
Beside flat out bad manners - I'm sure people who are unemployed/under-employed or are in foreclosure - noted it, if not only subconsciously. It's one thing to be successful but quite another to gloat in the face of an America in dire financial straits.
That one gesture was the beginning of Romney's unmasking, and he's only going downhill from there.
Listening to our so-called conservative pundits i.e. Rush, Hannity, Levin, we’re supposed to rally around the nominee ( even Williard). No way! Romney has scorched the earth and poisoned the well. I’ll recuse myself and write in.
On Fri, Hannity actually sounded fearful of this based on Mittens methods. He should be very afraid along w/ all the others. They will lose us as well if they don’t present a spine.
Scorched earth makes it impossible to distinguish between a vote for Romney or one for Obama. This means the two partys have merged. A write-in is the best I can offer too. Besides, if Newt should lose Florida, it becomes for me more than just about Newt alone, it will be to my actively working FOR a crack up of the Republican Party elite Establishment who are doing this to us decade after decade. I even hope for a Third Party if it forces a reallignment for the Republican Party. Try to be a delegate. I fear for our peasant style future, only a fraction less under Romney than Obama. That is not enough

I briefly saw Mega McCain on the Tonight Show several nights ago. Of course she expressed support for Romney. It occurred to me that she is an accurate representation of the GOP Elite: vapid, conceited, and entirely lacking in self-awareness and scruples.

Your completely missing the point. This has nothing to do with Newt ‘dropping the ball’, it has to do with lies and false innuendos just to get elected.
Newt is running for an idea (The America that can be).

And they've been wearing out their lying tongues, telling everyone they're soooo worried about the Mittbot. Yeah, right.
Georgie Clintonopoulos was just a little too quick to say a week or so ago that, yeah, Obozo really wants Gingrich bad ... bring on Gingrich, they want him .... without pausing to explain the puddle of pee by Obozo's foot.
Little Georgie slipped a little there, I think.
