Former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) on Sunday attacked Mitt Romney for "unseemliness and overkill" in his aggressive campaign against Newt Gingrich, the candidate Thompson has endorsed.

Ditto.

Drudge is scum in my book.

To wit, have removed his site from my “bookmarks”. Drudge can rot in hell, before I’ll ever visit his site again.

I read somewhere - I think it was here but I can’t find it right now - that Drudge’s hits are down a couple of million since Bloody Thursday.

I was trying to figure out why Connie Mack (BOTH Connie Macks) and Mrs. Mack (Mary Bono) were working so hard for Romney. I don’t think they’re Mormon so ruled that out. Then, like a ton of bricks, the duh moment! Mary Bono Mack is Chaz Bono’s stepmom. Completely forgot about that, tho I think Chaz was still Chastity when Sonny was alive. So, it seems that especially ‘gay friendly’ Repubs are firmly in the Romney camp. Coulter, Drudge, Bono, Mack, and Romney himself.

I took Drudge off as my home page. We are just about opposite economically and socially if he supports the Mittens so extremely as to wreck his own online publication like he did with a clear campaign of stinky Rino smears. I had no idea Matt is a Rino. Ewwww. It was like visiting DU.

One amoral socialist party is enough. Romney is Obama in whiter skin and with a bigger chip on his elitist shoulder. Romney hates conservatives more than Obama does. We really don't need his creepy gay cult gang shaping the Rino party for the next four years. You watch. If he gets the nomination, he won't attack a fellow socialist. He saves his knives for conservatives. He totally creeps me out.

Drudge and Coulter were together at the March for Justice in 1998.

“Does anyone know if Rhoades is gay?”

Why do you want to know?

Does that make any difference?

“lets hope Romney has more balls that Captain Queeg.”

He won’t call him a socialist.

He says only that Barry is “in over his head”.

I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.

I never had a print subcription, but it was on my favorite’s list, and I would read it daily thinking erroneously that the writers there think like the conservatives on this forum.

I was wrong. The internal polls they run over there ALWAYS show more support for Romney. The editor is for Romney.

I RATHER DOUBT THAT WILLIAM F. WOULD BE FOR ROMNEY.

I think that the transition of Drudge from conservative warrior to RINO advocate will not suit him well in the long run.

Look at how Romney governed and not what comes out of his mouth...He's a leftist democrat in governing...and laughs about it..

For the life of me, I can't understand how anyone, let alone a conservative, could believe a word of what he says now. You would have to be completely uninformed about his past governing and positions, or just terminally stupid.

He has been officially both for and against gay marriage. He has been officially both for and against abortion. He will say and do anything and take any position that is politically expedient. He doesn't really believe in any particular positions, morals, or ideals. Whatever will get him elected, richer or popular, are the things that fill his soul and make him what he is at the moment. In my opinion, he is evil and dangerous.

If he is our nominee, he will lose worse than McCain because he doesn't even have a Sarah Palin to drag the conservatives kicking and screaming to the presidential vote. And he couldn't get a Palin, because no real conservative would go near his VP spot. So, a vote for Romney as our nominee, is a vote to elect Obama. Just don't do it. Gingrich is the only chance to win against the socialist in chief.

"I mean COME ON, 13 anti-Newt articles in ONE day? That reallllly smacks of blackmail. They finally have him in a pink honey-trap, I think."

Could be..but any number of people could have outed him a long time ago. No I think he just wants Mittens because Mittens is pro-gay. It's that simple.

Go Goat Granny! What you said.

This election is not about the 'R' or 'D', it's about progressive liberal fascists in both parties taking over our liberties so they can get more control, all while stealing like bandits from the American people by growing government size and power and playing a shell game of get-rich-quick off the American taxpayer. Socializing the losses and privatizing the gains is the new fun carnival game in town.

We are being dragged down the road to bigger government fascism to satisfy the DC Fed "elites" and their lower level toadies.

They are really just well dressed drunken pirates.... parasites on the backs of the American people.

I’m not interested in an ideological purity contest.

Knock, knock. This is not what it is about. Mitt doesn't belong on the 'R' ticket. When one wants Mitt-like principles, they vote 'D'.

Do you have something against astronauts? You seem to want to make them the dullest knives in the drawer.

Thanks for that news. Was wondering what the results were for ‘brown fudge out’. Haven’t been there in years - I get my news here which at times anything newsworthy on drugefudge report - will show up here. Anyway - FR is more current, drudge would report news from FR’s breaking news. Freepers here reported it first.

And the reason for others on that same day did their dirty bomb drop was for..? Nope, it was a concerted effort - and he was part of the plan. Let’s get real, he’s POS. No way to pretty that up. Mitt, I’m sure, weighed the consequences and loss of credibility seemed small in comparison to what he’s been promised.

Do you have something against winning? Because the latest polling has Romney ahead of Obama, and Newtie is 14 points down. Newt has too many negatives and too much personal baggage. He is a train wreck, and if the GOP nominates him, the Democrats will be overjoyed.

I’d rather win with Romney than lose with Gingrich. If you’d rather lose, you do want ideological purity, and all that will bring you is defeat.

Newt has too many negatives and too much personal baggage

Instead of being a media puppet, give us the list of Mitt's negatives and his baggage. And then present a list of what he has done FOR America.

the Democrats will be overjoyed.

That statement alone shows a lack of critical thinking - so I want to know if I'm dealing with a 7 year old here or a media puppet your posts reeks of.

Hint: the media is trashing Newt, you don't trash so vehemently what you don't want. They cover for the POS, snake-in-the-grass, lying/deceiver con man Mitt. I'll say that's over the top personal baggage.

Now get to work and get that list done! I even helped you with some of his personal baggage. Unless you despise work as big gov't romney wants to coddle lazy @**es - like his counterpart Obama the food stamp pResident does.

If this is him I would say he is queer..you have to go down a few stories to find it..

https://www.washingtonblade.com/2011/10/27/best-of-gay-d-c-2011-community/

“We cover the area of D.C. where many LGBT residents live, and many more visit,” says Rhoades, who met his husband eight years ago, while Gomez was freelancing as a photographer for the Blade. “We try to offer them news about their neighborhood, about things that affect their everyday lives.” (PR)

"Nope, it was a concerted effort - and he was part of the plan."

That is correct..but who was he getting help from? Ann Coulter, supporter of GOProud (gay republicans) and Brit Hume (had a gay son), who is editing for Drudge, has been pushing for Romney on Fox for a while now.

The effort on the Internet is (was) being pushed by the gay republicans on what is now known as "Bloody Thursday".

As for the rest of the progressive republicans, they have been moving the party to the left in a "concerted effort" for decades. Nothing new except for the shameless scorched earth policy perpetrated against any and all conservatives every time it looks like they might regain any power.

The only reason why more people know about the crap that is pulled is because of the Internet.

Newt knows what they do, he lived through it. The lies are ridiculous and just freggin' evil.

Yes, the lies are evil but the lies are/have been from rinos and not just homos.

It was an all one well-planned Thursday anti-conservative dump campaign to help the father of lies, mitt.
