Well we were not all forced in to Catholicism when Kennedy got into the Whitehouse and I’m doubly doubting that a President Mitt will put us on the road to magic shirts and multiple wives. I guess this puts me on the record Rooster - so if there are forced marches to the temple I’ll be feeling like a real ass.

What worries me is the power the Mormon church will grab with Romney in the WH...and the money.

Well, that'll depend upon whether the Mormon "prophet" -- a guy that could be in his 80s or even 90s by 2015 or by 2020 (who knows?) -- may start "seeing things" and could announce that the Mormon jesus has returned.

And if he does that, we could have this prophesy from Lds "apostle" Bruce McConkie kick in:

"Obviously the holy practice (of polygamy) will commence again after the Second Coming of the Son of Man and the ushering in of the millennium." (LDS apostle Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, 1966 edition, see pp. 577-579 for context)

No Mormon leader (to my knowledge) has ever publicly challenged this Mormon "apostle's" prophesy.
